Maluia flashed his ILB physicality as a junior and looks to step into a bigger role for Bishop Gorman’s defense in the fall. He’s a heavy hitter that shows some juice in his closing speed outside the OTs and possesses the strength to handle blockers along the interior at 6’1”/215. He’s an instinctive defender that’s quick to diagnose and react to the football. Maluia just picked up his first offer from D-II Tuskegee in early June.
