The top-ranked player in the entire state, regardless of position, Derek Meadows Derek Meadows 6'6" | 195 lbs | WR Bishop Gorman | 2025 State NV is a monster on the outside for Bishop Gorman. At 6’6″ 200 lbs, the LSU commit has shown he has no trouble making tough catches through contact. With Meadows’ size, there aren’t many defenders in the country that can cover him without help. Not only hard to bring down, he’s got some incredible top-end speed – the type of speed that had him running a 21.71 200m on the track. The schedule has him lining up against some of the top defenses, and Meadows is going to have the opportunity to show everyone that he’s one of the top recruits in the nation.

Meadows took over the #1 spot in Prep Redzone’s 2025 Nevada rankings after cementing his elite status among the nation’s top wideouts this offseason. He’s down to five schools (Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Michigan, and Notre Dame) after picking up 15 P-4 offers this year and is now set to announce his commitment this Saturday 7/20. He’s a rare talent at the WR position with a unique blend of size, skill, and body control at 6’6″/195. He totaled 8 TDs on just 15 catches as a junior and should be in line for more volume this season with the graduation of some of last season’s top receiving options. Whichever program lands Meadows’ commitment will be getting a top-10 receiver in the country.
