Bishop Gorman has 6 linemen in the 2025 with multiple D1 offers. Out of the 6 Alai is said to have the most potential to play on Sundays at the guard position. Alai has perfect length, strength, and speed to play guard at the highest level possible if he continues to develop. Alai is also plays with violent hands that make him hard to get past. Alai has multiple power 5 offers but Nebraska looks to be the favorite and best fit for the prospect with legendary Hawaii Native Donovan Raiola coaching the o-line for the Cornhuskers. Look for Alai to be one of the leaders on the best o-line in the country.
Utu is the top tackle prospect in the state of Nevada right now. With his true 6’5 frame Utu is a long prospect that possess the agility, flexibility, and first step explosiveness to lock down any edge rusher. Coaches from around the country have offered Utu but there is no clear winner in his recruitment. Look for Utu to continue to protect the QB all season for the national champs.
SJ has been the anchor inside of the national champions in all of last season. SJ projects to be a power five center with elite strength and violence. SJ has a high football IQ that will translate well to the college game. SJ is a force at the point of attack in the run game with the ability to win the line of scrimmage against nationally ranked opponents. Look for SJ to have another dominating senior campaign.
Taufa has moved to Nevada from Utah to add to an already stacked offensive line unit. Taufa is a smart and physical player that will dominate in the run game. Taufa already has 11 division one offers and looks to add more. Although a lot of rankings list Taufa as a tackle look for the junior win a job at guard or center for Gaels.
KJ moved from Hawaii Powerhouse Punahou HS to Bishop Gorman last year to improve his game and to win a national championship. Although the Hawaii Commit did not start last season KJ is in the running to have a dominate senior year and be a part of the best starting five in the country. The junior did well at the Polynesian Bowl Combine held at Bishop Gorman and has been continuing to improve this off-season.
Alema is transferring into Bishop Gorman from national powerhouse IMG in Florida. The junior tackle makes 6 players on Gorman’s o-line with multiple division one offers. Alema is committed to Arizona State University and looks to help Bishop Gorman win back-to-back national championships. Alema possesses a true D1 tackle frame and size.
Pena is a huge power 5 prospect sleeper for the class of 2026. The 6’6 tackle was a top prospect in middle school and has been patiently waiting for his turn to shine for the national powerhouse Gaels team. Pena has great athleticism and size at the tackle position, and it is only a matter of time before Pena starts grouping multiple D1 offers.
