has separated himself as the premier running back to come out of the Baltimore area with a college-ready skill set. Brooks is a well-rounded back who brings breakaway speed to stress defenses on the perimeter while also running with power and edge between the tackles. He plays with a visible chip on his shoulder, consistently breaking through arm tackles and dragging defenders for extra yardage to finish runs. That blend of explosiveness and toughness has made him one of the most sought-after backs in the region, leading to his verbal commitment to Syracuse over national programs such as Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, and Washington.

Brooks ran eight times for at least 104 yards and a touchdown. His longest run of the night was 40 yards (the touchdown). He also had chunk runs of both 18 and 25 yards. Brooks was dominating and kept the chains moving. The way he accelerates to top speed is very impressive. Once he gets an opening, he’s gone. Brooks also ran with a lot of power and broke through arm tackles with ease.

picks up an offer out of Syracuse after a quiet two/three months. No matter how quiet things are for Brooks, we all are aware of how special a football player he is. Brooks, who boasts a 4.2 GPA, is starting to see more teams feel comfortable as he finally puts substantial tape on Hudl for suitors to see and dissect.
Brooks is a BIG10-worthy prospect, expect that domino to fall in time.

Brooks already holds offers from Akron and Miami (OH) but he should see more interest come his way in the upcoming months. Now up to approximately 5-foot-11 and 202-pounds, Brooks is a well built athlete in the 2027 recruiting class. His combination of size and athleticism was impressive to watch in person and he was receiving interest from FBS coaches as well. Brooks was impressive for Central Catholic last season and now makes a scary Aliquippa team even scarier heading into the fall.

Sa’Nar is another tough athlete from the class of 2027 at Central Catholic. Brooks exhibits fluid movements, mixed with speed and quickness. I watched him compete at the Top 150 camp this summer and was left impressed. His 5’10”, 185 lbs frame resembles that of an upperclassman. I’m intrigued to see where PCC plays him because he’s capable of playing multiple specialist positions. Brooks also displayed the ability to execute man coverage at the PSU prospect camp this past summer.
