LONG BEACH POLY VS. LONG BEACH WILSON

This game will likely decide the Moore League championship. Poly is coming off a close win over rival Millikan. Legend Galeai played his first game of the season for Poly at quarterback and completed 13 of 16 passes for 178 yards with a touchdown. [player_tooltip player_id='1686066' first='Jaden' last='Hernandez'] had a touchdown catch for Poly and is a tough matchup for Wilson. [player_tooltip player_id='283608' first='Deon' last='Jackson'] had 10 tackles for the Jackrabbits and [player_tooltip player_id='1517381' first='Savion' last='Day'] had an interception. Wilson is led by [player_tooltip player_id='1589197' first='Mack' last='Cooper'] at quarterback who has thrown for 1,445 yards with 16 touchdowns and just three interceptions. His top target is Thomas Jones. Wilson dominated Millikan and Poly had to squeak out a win, but the Millikan that Poly played was in a much better place than when Wilson played them.

CHAPARRAL VS. NORCO

These are two of the better offenses in the Inland Empire. Norco has scored at least 45 points in five of its seven games this season. [player_tooltip player_id='1197574' first='Julian' last='Medina'] has completed 73 percent of his passes for 309 yards per game with 27 touchdowns and two interceptions. [player_tooltip player_id='1197386' first='Blake' last='Wong'] already has 1,085 yards receiving with 16 touchdowns and Norco runs for 174 yards per game. Chaparral has played one of the toughest schedules in Southern California and is coming off a high-scoring loss to Murrieta Valley. [player_tooltip player_id='1611225' first='Dane' last='Weber'] has thrown for 308 yards per game with 24 touchdowns and seven rushing touchdowns. The Pumas spread the ball around to multiple receivers and [player_tooltip player_id='1611263' first='Eli' last='Woodard'] had a big game against Murrieta Valley. This may come down to who has the ball last.

SAN CLEMENTE VS. MISSION VIEJO

Mission Viejo is ranked No. 1 in Orange County by the OC Register. [player_tooltip player_id='1000890' first='Luke' last='Fahey'] is a Player of the Year candidate completing 75 percent of his passes for 255 yards per game and 17 touchdowns with just one interception. [player_tooltip player_id='1197564' first='Jack' last='Junker'] has picked up the top receiver spot for the Diablos with [player_tooltip player_id='283692' first='Vance' last='Spafford'] out, but Spafford may be back for this game. [player_tooltip player_id='1614528' first='JD' last='Hill'] is one of the top pass rushers in the Section and Kane Nolte has been a breakout player. [player_tooltip player_id='283628' first='Jeron' last='Jones'] has four interceptions and [player_tooltip player_id='1621228' first='Jordan' last='Hicks'] has two with two forced fumbles. San Clemente may start sophomore Preston Beck at quarterback or [player_tooltip player_id='1758285' first='Eiler' last='King']. [player_tooltip player_id='661909' first='Jaxson' last='Rex'] is an outstanding two-way player and I want to see [player_tooltip player_id='1635539' first='Scott' last='Johnson'] have a matchup against Hill in the trenches. Mission Viejo is much better on paper but San Clemente has upset them when the Diablos have appeared to be better.

CARLSBAD VS. SAN MARCOS

Carlsbad is coming off a huge win over Mission Hills where [player_tooltip player_id='401244' first='Eli' last='MacNeal'] threw for 216 yards with four touchdowns. Kai Brown ran for 120 yards and [player_tooltip player_id='1197620' first='Darian' last='Webb'] had 102 yards receiving with a score. [player_tooltip player_id='1639634' first='Rocky' last='Cummings'] is the top defensive player for the Lancers and had a sack last week against Mission Hills. San Marcos is coming off a high-scoring loss to La Costa Canyon. Zamar Reese ran for four touchdowns in that game and [player_tooltip player_id='780314' first='Kreet' last='Makihele'] is capable of big games at quarterback. Ty Sagaser can rush the passer and will have to pressure MacNeal for San Marcos' defense to have a chance.

ORANGE LUTHERAN VS. JSERRA

Orange Lutheran opened Trinity League play with back-to-back tough matchups against Mater Dei and St. John Bosco. [player_tooltip player_id='1506318' first='Ezrah' last='Brown'] has emerged as the starting quarterback for the Lancers and threw for 123 yards with a touchdown against Mater Dei. [player_tooltip player_id='780472' first='Sean' last='Morris'] has added a running element to the Lancers since becoming eligible two weeks ago and [player_tooltip player_id='676963' first='Nico' last='Bland'] is one of the top receivers in the league. JSerra lost to Servite last week but [player_tooltip player_id='1611307' first='Clark' last='Cokley'] is turning in big performances at receiver as of late. [player_tooltip player_id='1205702' first='Gino' last='Wang'] is a high-upside guy at quarterback and makes JSerra's offense better. [player_tooltip player_id='1841720' first='Rocco' last='Tompkins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1619039' first='Dylan' last='Fenn'] have been good run stoppers at linebacker for JSerra. This needs to be a get-right game for Orange Lutheran's offense.

CENTENNIAL VS. MURRIETA VALLEY

These are the undisputed top two teams in the Inland Empire. Centennial has scored over 60 points in each of its last two games and has only scored less than 42 points once this season. [player_tooltip player_id='427500' first='Malaki' last='Davis'] has emerged as Centennial's top running back and Dominick Catalano has been effective at quarterback. [player_tooltip player_id='1598329' first='Keawe' last='Browne'] is a strong two-way player for the Huskies and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='401263' first='Jonathan' last='McKinley'] II and safety [player_tooltip player_id='1611201' first='Jaden' last='Walk-Green'] will clean up tackles against the NightHawks running game. Murrieta Valley has scored over 55 points in its last two games. [player_tooltip player_id='1907759' first='Jeremiah' last='Watson'] is fourth in the Section in rushing with 1219 yards and 19 touchdowns. Centennial is going to make [player_tooltip player_id='1717673' first='Ty' last='Isaia'] throw the ball to beat them and he is dangerous as a dual threat quarterback.

ST. JOHN BOSCO VS. SANTA MARGARITA

Santa Margarita is coming off a big win over Mater Dei where its defense shined. [player_tooltip player_id='1553136' first='Leki' last='Holani'] had 15 tackles, [player_tooltip player_id='283606' first='Dash' last='Fifita'] had 10 and [player_tooltip player_id='283684' first='Siua' last='Holani'] had an interception. [player_tooltip player_id='283690' first='Trent' last='Mosley'] returned from a leg injury and scored the lone touchdown for Santa Margarita in the win. Bosco has been excellent on both sides of the ball this season. Sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='959174' first='Koa' last='Malau'ulu'] has been the best sophomore quarterback in the state. The receiving corps is elite featuring [player_tooltip player_id='209113' first='Madden' last='Williams'], [player_tooltip player_id='401226' first='Carson' last='Clark'], [player_tooltip player_id='283605' first='Daniel' last='Odom'] and [player_tooltip player_id='408739' first='Darren' last='Tubbs Jr']. [player_tooltip player_id='1598320' first='Matthew' last='Muasau'] has been one of the top defensive players in the league and [player_tooltip player_id='401241' first='Dutch' last='Horisk'] is a top pass rusher. I'm expecting a low-scoring game and Bosco's defense to make it very hard for Santa Margarita to move the ball.
