He shows quick block recognition when squeezing down to dent pullers and can eat up drive blocks while setting the edge and get off blocks without losing ground. On tape he shows he is very strong at the POA, can sustain blocks well downfield with finish abilities/pull across the LOS and wham, and moves well for his size with strong hands in traffic and some wiggle in the open field when creating seperation. He is a big and physical downhill player that can cover a ton of ground with closing speed and range on the back end and packs a punch at the POA. He excels against the run and getting in the mix in the box and also shows fluid hips in transition with natural ball skills and breaking abilities to collapse on pass catchers quickly. At 6'3", he has the ideal length and frame for the position at the FBS level and could potentially drop down as a OLB/SS as well depending on the system. He shoots his hands to reset the LOS, shows quick extension and can redirect to ball carriers flat down the line while showing closing speed/change of direction abilities and moves very well for his size. He plays with a low hat and good leverage to get underneath blockers and is stout against the run as well taking on double teams/drive blocks with ease. His snappy release and touch on the deep ball while able to make off-platform throws for a freshman is very impressive and he should draw plenty of P4 offers down the stretch of his high school career for Westlake.
