Paul Gregorian | Prep Redzone Scout
The talented sophomore passed for 2,500 yards and did some damage on the ground as well in his second season for Murrieta Valley and should be over the 3,000 yard marker as a Junior this fall. He has a big time arm downfield with vertical accuracy and puts nice touch and spin on the ball, throwing his receivers open. He also shows he can get the ball out quick and on time, moves through his progressions quickly and can buy time when feeling pressure in the pocket and flashes various arm angles without losing accuracy.

Isaia enters the 2028 state rankings inside the top 50 overall and is the #11 QB. 6’3” 205 lbs. he’s got a solid frame with length and a strong blend of arm strength, accuracy, and athleticism. He plays with advanced poise and intelligence, consistently reading coverages and delivering throws in tight windows, even under pressure. His ability to extend plays with his legs, without losing vision downfield, makes him a constant threat both inside the pocket and on the run. Throws carry velocity and precision to all areas, and he shows a natural feel for timing and ball placement. His footwork is clean, efficient, and smooth throughout his drop back and as he maneuvers the pocket while working through his progression. Recruitment is in its early stages with two P4 offers coming in this spring but see more attention going forward.

Isaia got meaningful playing time as a freshman on a good Murrieta Valley team last season and threw 11 touchdowns with just one interception.
He is lengthy with a quick release and he releases the ball early in his throwing motion. Isaia is really accurate while throwing on the run and always makes the right decision with the ball. He does a good job putting air under the deeper throws and letting his receivers run under the ball while giving the defender no chance to make a play.
Purdue and Ole Miss have offered Isaia.
