Expert Analysis
Jordan Reyes | Prep Redzone Scout
This versatile defensive line prospect brings an impressive blend of movement skills and quickness, showing the ability to line up across the front, though he projects best on the interior due to his 6’2”, 275-pound frame. He is a high-impact playmaker who consistently disrupts opposing offenses, using quick penetration to create havoc and make plays at or behind the line of scrimmage. He plays with an aggressive, physical style and shows violent hand usage, allowing him to shed blockers efficiently and free himself to finish plays. His ability to win early in reps makes him difficult to contain, while his strength and technique also allow him to hold his ground when asked to play a two-gap role. He shows good awareness and effort, staying active throughout the play and consistently finding the football. His production backs up the evaluation, as he ranked third in the state with 16.5 sacks. His continued development and impact on the field were further validated when he flipped his commitment from Northern Arizona to Washington.

Recent Offer: Kansas State
Notes: One of the top edge rushers across the state, Hill is a violent technician inside that can play anywhere along the defensive front and should gather more late P4 offers.

He is great with his hands out of his stance and always gets his arms extended on the offensive lineman. Hill reads offensive linemen well and can throw them out of the way while defending the run. He has good short-area quickness and is very athletic for a guy his size. Hill was very good at the Under Armour Next camp and is he odds on favorite to lead the Southern Section in sacks this season. NAU, Portland State, San Diego State and Montana State have offered Hill.

Hill is a basketball player at Mission Viejo and showed some of that athleticism in the individual drills. He’s explosive off the ball, gets good arm extension on the offensive lineman and has a motor.
