Webb is one of the top returning running backs across the San Diego region and is a powerful and violent runner that gets behind his pads and is tough to take down once he gets going in the open field. He sees the field well, has cutback abilities against flow and contact balance in traffic while able to stay patient behind his blocks before finding a second level burst. Webb is a good change of pace back that is a north and south runner and has been flying under the radar up to this point and should have a breakout senior year.
The running back group is the one I got to see the least, but Webb was consistently winning reps against the linebackers during the one-on-one period and he can change direction seamlessly. He has put on some muscle since I last saw him and he is a front of the line type of guy eager to get more reps at events like this.

Webb transferred to Carlsbad this offseason after serving as JSerra’s lead back a season ago. He’s a versatile weapon out of the backfield that totaled over 500 yards of offense and 4 total TDs and showed his receiving skillset recording 20 catches on the season. He’s a strong, physical athlete at 5’10″/200 with a well-developed frame and great foot speed and agility to his skillset. He’s a nuanced receiver for the RB position that can create separation as a route runner and possesses quality hands/ball skills. Webb should be a high impact transfer for the Carlsbad offense this season.
Webb is an impressive athlete who transferred to Carlsbad from JSerra. He went through the individual drills nicely and was consistently open during the one-on-one period.
