was the guy who cracked the whole thing open for Basha, and he did it in multiple ways. Early on, when they were leaning on the run and the underneath game, he was the one stretching Chandler’s coverage and forcing them to back off. That first big one he caught to set up the field goal was a clean, sharp route finished with real speed and a full-extension diving grab that showed exactly why he’s such a playmaker. And that other chunk gain in the second half wasn’t even a shot play at all; it was an underneath route he turned into something huge by bouncing off a defender, staying on his feet, and ripping upfield like the moment wasn’t too big for him. For a near thousand-yard receiver averaging over 17 a catch, this game looked like everything he’s been all season — explosive, tough after the catch, and hands you can trust.

I’m not even sure you can still call him under the radar at this point with how strong his offseason has been — he’s clearly trending in the right direction. What’s exciting is that he’s just getting started in a bigger role, and you can already tell the chemistry with his quarterback is there. The two of them were in rhythm throughout the day, and it felt like every time the ball came his way, he made something happen. What makes him so tough to defend is how deceptively fast he is. Because of his long stride, it doesn’t always look like he’s flying, but then you realize he’s created a few steps of separation without breaking a sweat. His frame and wingspan give him a big catch radius, and he does a great job of taking advantage of it — especially over the middle and on sideline throws where he can extend and still keep control. The thing I loved most, though, was how polished he looked from start to finish. His footwork was clean off the line, smooth through his breaks, and consistent all the way through the catch. There’s just not a lot of people who can make it look as effortless as he can. If this is the version of him we’re getting this fall, it’s going to be a fun season to watch.

Brock’s recruitment has been consistently on the rise pulling in recent offers from Northwestern, Washington State, and Air Force bringing his total count to nine. 6’3” 175 lbs. he possesses a long lean frame with the ability to add mass without sacrificing key traits including his top end speed and lateral agility. He’s a plus route runner that is sudden with his cuts and can drop his hip level to change directions on his breaks. He accelerates hard off the ball to close DB’s cushion and times out his moves well to set up his routes and create separation. Outstanding catch radius, he uses his length to his advantage to extend and play the ball outside his framework. Does a great job playing the ball at the catch point, can fight through contact and create leverage to make receptions in tight spaces. Great all around skillset to be an impact player at the P4 level.
