was everything you want from the guy in the middle of a championship defense — always around the ball, always finishing plays, always doing the thankless stuff that keeps everything glued together. Chandler never really got comfortable running inside, and a lot of that was because he was beating them to spots, scraping across the formation, and cleaning up anything that leaked through. He handled the dirty work without hesitation, letting the edge guys pin their ears back and the secondary stay aggressive. After a season where he stacked up triple-digit tackles and lived in opponents’ backfields, this game felt like a fitting close to the year.

just gets it. You don’t need to watch a full game to see it — a few plays in and it’s obvious he’s playing at a different mental speed than everyone else. He’s not out there overthinking or hesitating; he’s reacting instantly, diagnosing plays like he’s already seen the script. That kind of football IQ is rare, and it’s what makes him so fun to watch. He’s fast, he’s physical, but it’s the instincts that separate him. He flows through traffic without getting caught up, always takes the right angles, and has a real feel for where the ball is going before it gets there. There’s no wasted motion in how he plays. Just decisive, efficient football. New Mexico is getting a dude who can be a coach on the field, and the fact that he’s also loved by his teammates and coaches is just icing on the cake.

Cramer-Cronin had himself an eye popping junior season, racking up 9 sacks, 21.5 TFL’s, and 190 total tackles to play a key part in the Open Division runner-ups season. Excellent play rec and closing speed- as he frequently takes accurate attack tracks toward the QB and ball carriers and does so with burst and authority- while showcasing excellent play strength, play speed, and a good striking ability. He plays loose and flexible and possesses sideline to sideline range with an excellent motor. He holds 1 offer thus far from Northern Arizona, and is deserving of that list to s sky rocket.

‘s quick feet and football instincts make him a nightmare for opposing offenses. He’s constantly moving, reacting to the play, and finding ways to cause disruption in the backfield. When offensive linemen try to engage with him, his swift, calculated movements allow him to slip around them and close in on the ball carrier. Cramer-Cronin’s natural nose for the football resulted in an astonishing 145 tackles this season, showcasing his ability to control the middle of the field. But he’s far more than just a run-stopper—his versatility showed all year with 6.5 sacks and four passes defensed. Whether sticking close in coverage or rushing the quarterback, his blend of speed and technique makes him a dynamic defensive presence. With performances like this, it’s clear that Cramer-Cronin is a cornerstone of Basha’s defensive success and a player to watch through the Open Division playoffs.
