About Jake
Expert Analysis
Hunter Tierney | Prep Redzone Scout
He’s massive — 6’6″, 295 — and he looked the part. Hildebrand anchored the run game, consistently giving Gaines and Roberts a lane and keeping both quarterbacks upright. When Basha needed to run behind someone, they ran behind him. What really stood out, though, was how he played through the whistle on every snap, never taking a play off. He showed great awareness, using defenders’ own pass rush moves against them to redirect pressure and open lanes. That kind of effort and savvy doesn’t always show up in highlights, but it’s what keeps an offense clicking. Hildebrand is both the steady anchor and a technician who made life easier for everyone around him.

is as polished as they come for a young offensive lineman. He’s got that prototypical size that grabs your attention right away, but it’s the way he moves that really shows how much time he’s put into the craft. His footwork is sharp, always in sync with the play, and he’s constantly resetting to stay in control. He doesn’t just try to overpower guys — he understands leverage, positioning, and when to use his hands to either lock a defender up or create just enough space to reset and strike again. There’s a patience to his game that you don’t see often in high school linemen, and he always looks like he’s in command, even when facing more athletic pass rushers. He plays with a calm confidence, like he knows he’s winning the rep before it even starts. Add in how smart and technically sound he is, and it’s easy to see why so many big-time programs have jumped in with offers. Hildebrand’s not just a big body —he’s a real technician, and it’s clear he’s built for the next level.

Standing at a daunting 6’6″ and weighing 285 lbs, he’s an imposing presence walking onto the field. Already holding a plethora of Division 1 offers — including Oregon, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Florida State, and others — Hildebrand manhandles his opponents. He’s the type of player who will block until the final whistle and is always looking to put his assignment onto their backs, often succeeding.
