was in the middle of everything Basha did defensively, and that’s not an exaggeration. He played fast and fearless, shooting downhill to blow up runs, ripping the ball out, and cleaning up tackles in space when Chandler tried to stretch things horizontally. Then, just when Chandler thought they had him figured out, Basha turned around and used him on offense — dialing up those jet touches that he turned into touchdowns with ease. It was one of those nights where you noticed him every other snap, not because he was trying to do too much, but because he was just that active and dialed in. He walked away as both the Defensive MVP and Fiesta Bowl Player of the Game.

Lewis is jacked and was one of the more physically impressive skill players at the event. He was getting interceptions during the one-on-one period and was in the hip pocket of receivers all day. A lot of corners open up and bail too quickly at events like this and give up underneath routes, but Lewis was patient and closed to the ball quickly.

‘ impact on Casteel cannot be overstated. Making a big impact on both sides of the ball, his versatility has multiple layers to it. As On defense, he’s a physical defensive back with incredible makeup speed that allows him to cover a massive part of the field on his own. Offensively, Lewis’ versatility gets taken to another level where he’s not only an effective receiver but can also really hurt a defense when he takes a handoff as well. He currently has 431 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns on offense, while adding six passes defensed on defense. With the different ways he can completely change the momentum of a game, Lewis is a player to watch closely as he works through the rest of his high school career.

. The junior was a multi-dimensional player for this Colts team last season, playing the running back position on offense and all over in the secondary on defense. Some of Lewis’s most notable stats were his 470 rushing yards and 9 rushing TDs on offense paired with 50 total tackles, 30 of those as solo tackles, 3 pass deflections, and an INT on defense. As a running back, he is excellent at finding the hole and bursting through with instinctive quickness. He also has reliable hands in the passing game, able to pick up some yardage out of the backfield. As a defensive back, he shows good ability to cover a vast amount of ground and refined ball skills, locating and high pointing the ball. Lewis holds multiple D1 offers entering his junior year. A thrilling, multifaceted athlete who will be a massive threat for opposing teams to account for.

A lot of buzz about Lewis coming out of the Casteel spring showcase that resulted in offers from Kansas State and UTEP to add his three other P4 offers. He’s an electric athlete with great versatility in his skillset to be an explosive playmaker lining up in various positions including both DB spots, WR, RB, and kick returner. He’s continued to grow and fill out now at 6’0” 185 lbs. Quick in the hips he’s able to smoothly transition out of his back pedal and accelerate into his break with good leg drive and closing speed. Runs well both in the short area and downfield. Flashes good eye discipline and play diagnosis skills to make quick decisive reads and react in the secondary. Strong ball skills, he competes at the catch point with good extension and body control. Recruiting stock will continue to rise with more offers on the way.
