This process has not been easy, and there are a lot of deserving players who may not necessarily be named to these teams, but the ones that are absolutely deserve it. [player_tooltip player_id='1124842' first='Jayden' last='Jones'] from Independence is one of the best running backs I've ever seen live in my 26 years of coaching and covering high school football. [player_tooltip player_id='378921' first='Christian' last='Freeman'] is absolute lightning in the open field in his own regard. The receiving core of Richburg, Dillon, and Voss is big, long, and fast, and can do it all between the white lines. [player_tooltip player_id='1368103' first='DJ' last='Howerton'] is an incredible physical specimen who can win up the seam and as an inline blocker. The offensive line is a shining star here of Division 1 talents and commitments throughout the entire group. The EDGE guys in Ewetade and Rogers are extremely fast, long, and specialize in getting the quarterback on the ground in a hurry. The Harris twins from Weddington - I simply could not split them up. They have been two of the most dominant defensive guys in the Charlotte area for the last 4 years, and they both deserved to be in this group for sure. Stancil from Clayton is another physically dominant defensive lineman who can win with speed or power up front. The linebacking core has a ton of experience and talent, with the ability to take over games in the middle of the field on all 3 downs. In the secondary, this group of top-end talent is desired by some of the best college football programs in the nation, and they excel in run support as well as playing some impressive lockdown coverage.
