Hasan is the clear top guy here, as he’s one of the best pure corners in the state. He’s a guy Cardinal Gibbons can leave on an island while the rest of the defense focuses on the other side of the field. Most impressive to me this year was his impact in the return game, as that wasn’t an area of his game I expected to be so strong. Notre Dame has not only landed a bunch of recent North Carolina prospects, but also played them early, something that Hasan has the talent to do at the next level.

If we ranked every pure corner to come out of the state of North Carolina since 2020, Hasan would be very close to the top of the list, perhaps second or third. He’s an ideal cover corner, with length, speed, ball skills, and clean mechanics. He’s a smooth mover in his backpedal and turn, and he drives on the ball well to make plays. It’s no surprise that Notre Dame had to beat out a host of other top teams for his services.

Hasan is one of the more physically-impressive corners you’ll find and it’s little surprise he sits atop this list. He has that elite combination of athleticism, technique, and production that you look for in a top corner and there’s a reason just about every top team in the country is after him. The weight and strength gains have been impressive and only serve to make him a better player.

Hasan is the most technically-sound corner in the 2027 class and he’s flying on the recruiting trail, racking up SEC offers left and right. Hasan has grown in recent months as well and looks like a true college corner already. His closing and recovery speed is elite and his footwork, backpedal, and hips are what we like to see from elite corner prospects. Expect him to stay near the top of the rankings.

Hasan is one of my favorite corners I’ve scouted in a long time. He has length, hips, footwork, and ball skills, making him an excellent man corner prospect. While he doesn’t have truly elite speed, he has more than enough to recover and can stay stride-for-stride with receivers on deep routes. He has strong hands and has flashed zone coverage ability as well. His return ability and special teams experience are pluses.
