Williams is the leader of a strong offensive line and the top tackle prospect in a strong 2028 class. Primarily a tackle for Southeast Raleigh, I think Williams could slide inside at the next level. That’s a compliment, as I love his toughness and physicality as a run blocker. There’s a lot of untapped potential in his profile, and if he continues to make consistent strides, he’s going to end up one of the top players in the 2028 class.

Williams is the guy in an elite tackle class. We had him in our top 10 even before the offers started rolling in, but even we were impressed with the winter that he had. Once he got his first big offer, the big guns started taking aim as SEC and Big Ten schools have stepped in with offers. He’s big, nasty, and disciplined, with elite upside to play at any of the nation’s best schools.

Williams has the early attention of schools across the country thanks to huge potential and strong early returns as a freshman starter at left tackle. He’s currently a better run blocker than pass blocker thanks to insane power and very refined technique. He has good pad level and can blow defenders off the line. He flashes as a down blocker and puller, and those are areas he can continue to grow in. As he develops as a pass-blocker, he’ll get better and better.
