After playing as a sixth lineman at Rolesville as a freshman, Howard is moving to Southeast Raleigh, a program with a reputation for developing young linemen. He can play either guard position and has the frame to kick out to tackle in a pinch. His raw power plays best on the inside and he has a compact punch and the ability to blow defenders off the line.

Howard played well for Rolesville as a freshman, even though he wasn’t a full-time starter. That will probably serve him well as he transfers to Southeast Raleigh, as he played both left and right guard and has the ability to kick out tot tackle as well. He’s still growing into his body, but holds himself well and has a strong base and good balance.

Howard is a people-mover at guard, something I love to see from young offensive linemen. He got better in pass protection as the year went on against a quality schedule, but his bread and butter is run blocking. Rolesville’s talented backs often ran through gaping holes on the right side of the offensive line as Howard effortlessly displaced defensive tackles. His upside is tremendous.

Playing right guard on varsity for a team that made the state finals as a freshman is very impressive. And Trevor did this at a pretty high level based on his highlight film. Trevor does a good job of fitting his hands on interior defensive linemen quickly at the snap, especially in the running game. This allows Trevor to get his feet moving quickly on down blocks, which he excels at probably the most overall in his game right now. Trevor can mirror defenders pretty well who try to shoot the gap on him in their pass rush, but as he gets stronger he will be able to stonewall them at the line of scrimmage all together. Trevor has interest from several schools, and he projects well moving forward as a potential 4-year starter up front.

Trevor was a pleasant surprise, standing close to 6’4″ and just a freshman. Howard more than held his own throughout the event. The freshman from Rolesville already possesses elite footwork, especially for his age. If he continues to develop at this rate, the projections for Howard are through the roof.

Howard is a massive Offensive line prospect being listed at 6’3 280 pounds already. He’s a big time force on the line and uses his size and strength to dominate defenders. Although he’s very big he’s still very athletic for his size and is not easy to get past as a tackle. Definitely a prospect to watch in North Carolina for the next 4 years.
- Huge 6’3 280+
- strong
- can move well

– Played for the 919 Chiefs this year.
– Absolutely massive for a 2028 prospect, with his size listed anywhere between 6’3″-6’4″ and 280-315 pounds.
– Spent most of the season playing Right Guard and I expect him to do the same in this game. That said, he has offensive tackle size and may also get some burn as a defensive tackle in short yardage situations.
