A massive defensive tackle, Robinson has taken his game to another level for Southeast Raleigh this season. I’m particularly impressed with what the big man has been able to do as a pass-rusher. He’s not just eating up blocks now; he’s actively making plays in the backfield almost every game. How often do you see a 315-pounder third on the team in tackles? Robinson’s senior production and tape are off the charts.

Robinson transferred into Southeast Raleigh, and before the season, I thought he could prove to be one of the Bulldogs’ most important players. The team occasionally struggled against the run, especially against dual-threat quarterbacks. Robinson made his mark immediately and has 11 tackles for loss in three games. He’s a strong defender on the inside, but he’s remarkably quick as well. While playing a lot of nose tackle, he’s been throwing interior offensive linemen around as he continues to impress.

Continuing the defensive line theme here, Robinson is an outstanding interior defender who flies under the radar. He had 31 tackles, including seven for loss, last season, but his biggest contribution was as an unselfish defender who took on blocks and opened up space for his linebackers.

Robinson isn’t known for his pass-rushing abilities, but there are few—if any—run-stoppers as proven as the Southeast Raleigh defensive tackle. Despite his size, he frequently kicks out to the five-technique, and can match up directly over linemen or use his get-off to blow up gaps. Robinson isn’t going to make headlines, but he’s so important to the Southeast Raleigh defense.

A massive two-way lineman, Robinson gets the nod on the defensive line after narrowly missing making our offensive line list. He was extremely productive last season with 13 tackles for loss and can beat guys with speed or power. Ultimately, I like him best as an offensive lineman, but he’s also one of the best interior defenders in the county.
