Expert Analysis
Matt Morrow | Prep Redzone Scout
We recently wrote about Bryce on our 704 Junior Bowl team; he’s a dominant center who’s a two-time All-Conference selection, and he’s been one of the best offensive linemen in the area consistently for a while now. An update on Bryce recruiting-wise – he’s recently received offers from Elon, Army, Memphis, Campbell, and Tulane. The Warriors will have a new starting quarterback for the 3rd season in a row, but they’ll feel comfortable behind center with big Bryce leading the way for them.

Bryce is a no-brainer for consideration for our 704 Junior Bowl team. He’s a 2-time All-Conference selection who is dominant from his center position from both a run blocking and a pass blocking perspective. Recent offers have come from East Carolina, Samford, Dartmouth, and Tulane.

Johnson is a fierce, physical blocker who plays with a relentless motor. His film shows multiple run blocks that continue 10–15 yards downfield, finishing with authority. Playing guard in Weddington’s balanced offense, many of his highlight moments come in the run game, but he’s equally reliable in pass protection. With his size and strength, Johnson already brings the frame and skill set of a Power Four-level interior lineman.

moves into our number 1 ranked offensive lineman for the 2027 class. Bryce has the physical frame to be dominant not only in high school but in college also. Secondly, Bryce plays with a physical mentality at all times, with several dominating blocks on film. And thirdly, multiple colleges are already interested in him. Bryce has offers from Boston College, Troy, Liberty, Miami (Ohio), and East Tennessee State. Impressive for a sophomore OL, where offers typically come a little later in their development. Bryce was an All-Conference selection last season and has the ability to play both guard and center currently.
