Just playing some varsity snaps as a freshman, given the depth and talent on Weddington’s defensive line, would have been an accomplishment for Sheronas, but he was actually productive when he was in the game. He has one of the better first steps in the state and he’s already flashed an advanced set of pass-rushing moves. He’s still going to be behind multiple Power Four edge rushers, but he’s a guy who can really make a difference as a pass-rushing specialist.

Already 6’3″ with a 6.5-foot wingspan, Sheronas played his freshman year at under 200 pounds and still made an impact on one of the deepest defensive lines in the state. Sheronas has the length and work rate to be a standout edge rusher in the future. The Warriors don’t lose much depth on the edge this season, so don’t be surprised if he doesn’t have a dominant sophomore season. Just know he’s waiting in the wings to break out.
