The first thing I can say about Eric is that he’s definitely been working hard in the weight room – he has bulked up noticeably and looks like a different player than I saw just a few months before. Even with the additional weight, Eric moved well in all of the drills throughout the entire showcase. Moving to a different school in Weddington that has an excellent defensive staff in place should allow Eric to really shine and have a strong senior season. I’m excited to see him continue to grow in the summer camp season.

Henriquez has put together a strong junior season off the ball for Porter Ridge. He plays a traditional linebacker role, but the Pirates ask a lot of him in coverage, and so far, he’s risen to the challenge. He flows freely, not afraid to leave ad lib and fire off at a scrambling quarterback or make a play on the ball. He trusts his instincts, and that shows up on film.
