Dallas has been impressive over the past couple of years as a dominant middle linebacker for the Patriots. He has received offers from a ton of Power 4 schools, and displays the traits to be a true 3 down linebacker at the next level. Dallas has been taking some visits and it will be exciting to see where he decides to play football on the college level.

Dallas had another great season leading the Patriots defensively. Dallas was selected as the Southwestern Conference Defensive Player Of The Year along with being selected for All-Conference. From a recruiting perspective, Dallas has offers from just about anyone from a Power 4 perspective and has taken some visits. This past season he had 118 tackles and 9 tackles for loss in only 9 games. Dallas flies to the football, tackles well in space, and does a great job in pass coverage in the middle of the field. Dallas also is a great kid and leader, an excellent personality and demeanor on and off the field.

Dallas has played up to the #2 ranking in the Class of 2026 Linebackers, and in this game the highly recruited prospect ended up with 9 tackles, a lot of them being big stops to get the Bulldogs off the field in critical situations. Dallas did a good job of not staying blocked against a good offensive line and run scheme by the Bulldogs. Dallas tackles exceptionally well in open space, and his eyes are not easily influenced by play-action or fakes. I expect Dallas to continue to earn more Power 4 offers as we get into the off-season.

There’s not much room above Brannon in the rankings for him to move up, but I’d expect him to get a slight bump after the year. The recruiting has finally caught up to his considerable talent level and he’s been fantastic early this season. He’s been everywhere, with 49 tackles in four games to start the season.

The highly recruited junior was a major reason why the Mustangs totaled all of 24 rushing yards in the entire game. Dallas was credited with 6 total tackles by the statisticians, but from field level, it looked like he was in on every play within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage. But, that is what we’ve come to expect from Dallas week in and week out.
