From big time performances in big games to clutch performances and stat sheet-stuffing performances, we have them all! Following games each week, you can submit your picks for top performers by tweeting at us @PrepRedzoneOK or emailing Michael@PrepRedzone.com. This week, we've hit an all time high and putting the spotlight on 36 different players who stood out for one way or another from all across Oklahoma!

RELATED WEEK SIX CONTENT

– Week Six Round Up

WEEK SIX'S TOP PERFORMERS

[player_tooltip player_id='1005610' first='Austin' last='Solis'] - Senior Running Back - Mangum

Mangum senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='1005610' first='Austin' last='Solis'] continues to be one of the best consistent players in the state of Oklahoma. Solis was added to our PRZ-Oklahoma Player Of The Year Watchlist on Friday and then he came out and backed up the hype. Solis would run for over 150 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries as Mangum remained undefeated with a 40-8 victory over Mooreland. Solis finds his way on this breakdown every week because he makes 150-175 yards and several touchdowns look easy.

[player_tooltip player_id='1083187' first='Barrett' last='Mullen'] - Junior Quarterback - Cascia Hall

Cascia Hall would beat Vinita 42-0 and it was junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1083187' first='Barrett' last='Mullen'] that shined, despite not being remotely close to 100 percent. Mullen would throw for over 200 yards and five touchdowns on 15-21 passing. Cascia Hall head coach Joe Medina said that Mullen was dealing with a stomach virus and was sick right before the game started. Medina added that it reminded him of the Michael Jordan flu game in the NBA Finals. It was definitely a gritty performance from Mullen.

[player_tooltip player_id='434307' first='Barrett' last='Travis'] - Senior Running Back - Heritage Hall

Heritage Hall doubled up Kingfisher 46-23 and it was the running game that caught our attention in this week six victory. Senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='434307' first='Barrett' last='Travis'] had a night to remember with nearly 200 yards and four touchdowns on 32 carries. There were a handful of running backs in Oklahoma that finished with over 30 carries and Travis is one of them. The senior and the Chargers are starting to gain a lot of momentum as we head into the final month of the regular season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1366322' first='Braden' last='Ward'] - Junior Quarterback - Pryor

Pryor needed to bounce back after a devastating loss to Tahlequah on the final play of the game. Pryor junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1366322' first='Braden' last='Ward'] delivered in a major way. He led an offensive onslaught as the Tigers would hand Claremore their first loss on Friday night. Ward finished with nearly 250 yards and two touchdowns on 17-26 passing. He also added 64 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries as the Tigers would beat Claremore 31-6. That was a huge win for Pryor in the playoff race in this district.

[player_tooltip player_id='382955' first='Brady' last='Scott'] - Junior Wide Receiver - Hilldale

Hilldale standout [player_tooltip player_id='382955' first='Brady' last='Scott'] finds himself on this breakdown once again after the Hornets won a high-scoring affair with Ada on Friday night. Scott would catch five passes for nearly 150 yards and three of those catches went for touchdowns. The Hornets would beat Ada 47-35 and that's a massive district win considering Ada came into this week after beating Poteau in week five. Scott is absolutely electric with the football in his hands and his week six performance was another example.

[player_tooltip player_id='593641' first='Caleb' last='Hawkins'] - Senior Running Back/Defensive Back - North Rock Creek

It was probably the game of the week in week six as North Rock Creek beat Pauls Valley 41-34 in double overtime. North Texas commit [player_tooltip player_id='593641' first='Caleb' last='Hawkins'] has been a star for the Cougars for a while now but this was a game to remember. He would finish the night with just over 200 yards and four touchdowns on 31 carries. He also added nearly 30 yards and a touchdown receiving. And because he's one of the best two-way players in Oklahoma, he came up with an interception and he forced a fumble in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='968318' first='Canyon' last='Hindman'] - Senior Quarterback - Pawhuska

Pawhuska had to bounce back following a brutal loss to Pawnee in week five and the Huskies delivered. They beat Tonkawa 50-12 and senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='968318' first='Canyon' last='Hindman'] had another stellar performance as the Huskies would get back on the winning track. Hindman threw for nearly 250 yards and three touchdowns on 22-35 passing. Pawhuska is still in the mix in this district and with an offense that can put up 50 on any given week, they could end up making a run in November.

[player_tooltip player_id='284114' first='Carson' last='Kirby'] - Junior Quarterback - Bixby

The Bixby Spartans scored 85 points in a win over Edmond North on Friday night so we needed to pick someone from that offensive explosion. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='284114' first='Carson' last='Kirby'] had a strong outing with nearly 250 yards and five touchdowns on 19-23 passing. He also added four carries for 67 yards as the Spartans continue to give opponents problems with so many different weapons in the running game. And again, they scored 85 points so we had to have someone represented here.

[player_tooltip player_id='1101281' first='Carter' last='Ricke'] - Junior Quarterback - Lincoln Christian

Lincoln Christian remained unbeaten with a 63-20 win over Locust Grove on Friday night. The offense was able to do just about whatever they wanted in the win and junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1101281' first='Carter' last='Ricke'] had the best performance of his career as a Bulldog quarterback. Ricke would throw for a career-high 419 yards and five touchdowns on 18-23 passing. With 60+ points, we could have picked a couple different players off this Lincoln Christian offense but we're going with the career night from the QB.

[player_tooltip player_id='1522515' first='Cole' last='Rolland'] - Freshman Quarterback - Checotah

We wrote about Checotah freshman quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1522515' first='Cole' last='Rolland'] this week as one of the top producing freshmen in Oklahoma. Rolland is near the top of the list for freshman quarterbacks from a production standpoint and he had another great game as they beat Stigler 31-6. Rolland would throw for over 300 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 18-25 passing. He also added 35 yards on ground as Checotah continues to roll on the offensive side of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='216547' first='Colton' last='McComb'] - Sophomore Athlete - Edmond Memorial

Edmond Memorial rolled to a 38-0 win over Yukon on Friday night and sophomore standout [player_tooltip player_id='216547' first='Colton' last='McComb'] had a solid performance on both sides of the ball. He finished with four carries for 76 yards and a touchdown. He also had 11 tackles, a fumble recovery and an interception that he took back for another score. In our opinion, McComb is quickly becoming one of the state's best linebackers in the 2027 class and that overall athleticism was on full display on Friday night.

[player_tooltip player_id='922962' first='Connor' last='Payne'] - Senior Quarterback - Berryhill

Berryhill beat Jay 50-30 and there was no doubt who shined bright as the offense lit up the scoreboard for 50 points. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='922962' first='Connor' last='Payne'] had one of the best performances of his career in the win. Payne would throw for well over 400 yards and five touchdowns on 13-18 passing. Payne would also add a little over 50 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Overall, the Berryhill quarterback would nearly total 500 yards of total offense in the win on Friday night.

[player_tooltip player_id='473891' first='Creed' last='Barrett'] - Freshman Quarterback - Washington

Within 48 hours of being named one of the top prospects in the state's 2028 class, Washington quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='473891' first='Creed' last='Barrett'] backed up the hype with a nearly perfect performance in week six. Barrett threw for nearly 250 yards and four touchdowns on 6-7 passing. His night was done by halftime and the Warriors improved to 6-0 on the season and have now won 36 consecutive games. As we wrote earlier in the week, Barrett has stepped up in a major way and has looked the part immediately.

[player_tooltip player_id='473754' first='Cruz' last='Campbell'] - Junior Quarterback - Tuttle

Tuttle quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='473754' first='Cruz' last='Campbell'] had another standout performance as the Tigers dominated district foe Bethany in the second half of their 42-19 win. Campbell would throw for just over 250 yards and five touchdowns on 15-21 passing. He spread the ball around and remained incredibly efficient in the win. Campbell is without a doubt one of the more improved players in the state. And we're not just talking about the quarterback position, he has elevated his game this season in a major way.

[player_tooltip player_id='917724' first='Darien' last='Dansby'] - Senior Running Back - Bristow

It was a good night for Bristow as they would beat rival Mannford and senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='917724' first='Darien' last='Dansby'] had another standout performance. It's been a really strong senior season for Dansby this year and Friday night was a special night for him. He would finish with 150 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. He also threw a touchdown. But he was also named Homecoming King so overall, it was a great Friday night for Dansby. Bristow continues to be a 3A team to keep an eye on.

Dayton [player_tooltip player_id='1626574' first='Tate' last='McClendon'] - Junior Running Back - Prague

It's not often that we have players on here where the team came up short but there are also unique situations where it's warranted. This is one of those instances. Prague came up short on Friday, losing 40-28 to Kiefer but junior Dayton [player_tooltip player_id='1626574' first='Tate' last='McClendon'] had a spectacular performance. McClendon would finish with nearly 300 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 28 carries. He's not a newcomer to this weekly breakdown either as he's having a terrific junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530080' first='Dom' last='Forbes'] - Sophomore Wide Receiver - Sand Springs

It's time to really start paying attention to Sand Springs and specifically their passing game. It seems like every week they are lighting up the scoreboard and the passing game is making it look easy. The Sandites have enjoyed a breakout season from sophomore wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1530080' first='Dom' last='Forbes'] and he was outstanding again in their 44-6 victory over Ponca City. In the win, Forbes would finish the night with 230 yards and three touchdowns on seven receptions. He has to be one of the leading receivers in 6A-2.

[player_tooltip player_id='230552' first='Grayson' last='McGuire'] - Senior Running Back - Community Christian

There were some fantastic workhorse performances this week from the running back position. Community Christian senior [player_tooltip player_id='230552' first='Grayson' last='McGuire'] definitely belongs in that category this week. McGuire would carry the ball 34 times and finish the night with nearly 300 yards and five touchdowns. The Royals would lean on McGuire as they would beat Coalgate 53-20 in week six. While it wasn't the biggest workhorse performance that we saw (more on that in a bit) it did get our attention.

[player_tooltip player_id='998365' first='Houston' last='Herrin'] - Senior Athlete - Apache

Apache pulled off one of the better wins on Friday night as they beat Thomas 34-33 and handed the Terriers their first loss of the season. Senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='998365' first='Houston' last='Herrin'] led the way, accounting for 186 yards on the ground and 134 passing yards. All in all, he totaled four touchdowns as the Warriors picked up a monster district victory. Herrin was a player that was featured on this breakdown several times throughout the 2023 season but this is his first appearance for 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='211556' first='Jamarian' last='Ficklin'] - Senior Quarterback - Muskogee

The defending champion Muskogee Roughers rolled to a 55-0 win over Bartlesville on Friday night and it was pretty much a perfect night all around. Senior quarterback and Texas State commit [player_tooltip player_id='211556' first='Jamarian' last='Ficklin'] was borderline perfect in the passing department. He would throw for just under 400 yards and six touchdowns on 15-17 passing. The Roughers are picking up more and more momentum as we start heading into the home stretch and they are looking to repeat as champ.

[player_tooltip player_id='1473214' first='Ja' last='Posey'] - Sophomore Quarterback - Pocola

Pocola might have the state's leading quarterback as we head into week seven. Now, we don't have stats from every single team but there probably aren't many other signal callers that have more yards than sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1473214' first='Ja' last='Posey'] for the Indians. Posey threw for nearly 250 yards and five touchdowns on 11-15 passing in their 60-16 win over Hulbert. He only played in the first half. This performance comes one week after setting the school record with over 500 yards in a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='379243' first='Jax' last='Bernard'] - Senior Quarterback - Fairview

Fairview won their 36th consecutive game as they beat Crescent 56-26. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='379243' first='Jax' last='Bernard'] had another solid outing with 235 yards and four touchdowns on 13-19 passing. But it was the major milestone that Bernard hit that lands him on this breakdown. Bernard became the latest Oklahoma high school quarterback to throw for over 10,000 yards in his career. It was only a matter of time before he hit this mark this season and we can't wait to see him in person in week seven.

[player_tooltip player_id='402376' first='Jeramiah' last='Ssettimba'] - Junior Quarterback - Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow is starting to pick up some momentum as we get deeper into district play. The Tigers went on the road and beat Edmond Santa Fe 27-17. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='402376' first='Jeramiah' last='Ssettimba'] led the offensive production in this one. The junior would throw for just under 250 yards and three touchdowns on a very efficient 19-24 passing. The Tigers would get the bulk of their offensive output from the passing game as Ssettimba continues to improve as an overall passer in this offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='595670' first='John' last='Mark Roller'] - Senior Quarterback - Regent Prep

Regent Prep lit up the scoreboard with a 68-36 victory and senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='595670' first='John' last='Mark Roller'] could not be stopped on Friday night. Roller was a one-man wrecking crew as the Ram offense rolled. He threw for just over 400 yards and six touchdowns and then he also added 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground. Stat wise, there weren't many other performances (we don't think any) that were better than this one here. Roller has had a terrific senior season and it's not done yet.

[player_tooltip player_id='858875' first='Jordan' last='Clark'] - Junior Running Back - McAlester

McAlester is continuing to play great football and the Buffaloes are picking up some major momentum as we head into the final four weeks of the regular season. They beat East Central 70-28 and it was a very balanced effort from an offensive perspective. Junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='858875' first='Jordan' last='Clark'] had a standout performance with a little over 160 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries. McAlester is a team that is used to playing deep into November and they are starting to look like it.

[player_tooltip player_id='211559' first='JuJu' last='Smith'] - Senior Athlete - Choctaw

We can't say enough good things about the Choctaw offense as they continue to roll over district opponents. This week, it was senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='211559' first='JuJu' last='Smith'] who led Choctaw offensively with four catches for 112 yards and a score and he also added over 80 yards on the ground. Smith is one of the best overall playmakers in Class 6A-2 and the Yellowjackets will need him in a major way in week seven. Choctaw will play host to Stillwater in a showdown that will decide the district title.

[player_tooltip player_id='1084102' first='Justin' last='Palacios'] - Sophomore Running Back - Hooker

Hooker could have got caught looking ahead to the state title rematch with Fairview but they didn't. The Bulldogs beat Cashion 54-14 and it was a very balanced night for this explosive offense. Sophomore running back [player_tooltip player_id='1084102' first='Justin' last='Palacios'] would finish the night with 178 yards and two touchdowns on just ten carries. He also had two catches for 53 yards and a score. Now, we get to start looking ahead to the week seven showdown in the panhandle as #2 Hooker will host top-ranked Fairview.

[player_tooltip player_id='402378' first='KD' last='Jones'] - Junior Running Back - Jenks

Jenks went on the road to face Mustang and they made quick work of the Broncos in the 45-13 victory. Junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='402378' first='KD' last='Jones'] only played in the first half as the Trojans didn't need him after halftime. He got all of his work done in the first two quarters, finishing with just over 200 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries. Jones is a player that can absolutely take over a game in the blink of an eye and Friday's performance on the road against Mustang was another example of that.

[player_tooltip player_id='1549990' first='Marquise' last='Harris'] - Senior Running Back - Lawton MacArthur

Lawton MacArthur continues to pick up momentum and they'll need it during the second half of their schedule as the district slate gets tougher. The Highlanders had no problems in a 64-23 win over Duncan and senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1549990' first='Marquise' last='Harris'] led an absolute rushing onslaught in the win. He finished with over 200 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries. But he was also one of three Highlanders that finished the night with over 100 yards on the ground in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='424595' first='Masyn' last='Wright'] - Junior Running Back - Vian

Another week, another Vian win and another dominant performance from [player_tooltip player_id='424595' first='Masyn' last='Wright'] for the Wolverines. The junior standout is one of the best players in the state and we don't think that's debatable at this point. Wright had an easy week six as they rolled to a 48-0 win over Atoka. The Vian star would finish the night with nearly 180 yards and four touchdowns on just six carries. He also had a 31-yard receiving touchdown. Offensively, he touched the ball seven times and scored five. Incredible.

[player_tooltip player_id='479389' first='Matrail' last='Lopez'] - Senior Athlete - Idabel

Idabel rolled to a 47-27 win over Muldrow in a match-up of southeastern Oklahoma teams that are battling for playoff positioning. Senior standout and Oklahoma State commit [player_tooltip player_id='479389' first='Matrail' last='Lopez'] continues to remind us why he's one of the best players in 3A football with an all around performance. Lopez would run for a little over 100 yards and four touchdowns in the win and he also had an interception on the defensive side of the ball. Lopez is known more as a receiver but this week, he dominated the ground.

[player_tooltip player_id='858873' first='Mykah' last='Washington'] - Junior Running Back - Booker T Washington

Booker T Washington shut out Bishop Kelley 23-0 for their fourth consecutive win and junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='858873' first='Mykah' last='Washington'] had one of the best performances of his career. The Booker T Washington junior would run for just over 200 yards on 25 carries and he accounted for all three Hornet touchdowns. We were able to catch the Hornets in person for the second half of their game and it was impressive to watch Washington pick up hard yards and lead the Hornets to a decisive win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1370665' first='Raiden' last='McLemore'] - Junior Running Back - Perkins-Tryon

Perkins-Tryon would pull off an absolute blowout that not many probably saw coming Friday night. The Demons beat Seminole 52-8 and the ground game did most of the damage on the offensive side of the ball. Junior standout [player_tooltip player_id='1370665' first='Raiden' last='McLemore'] had a terrific performance in the win, running for nearly 200 yards and three touchdowns. The defense also played lights out, holding Seminole to just eight points but the offense put up over 50 and McLemore was a big part of that.

[player_tooltip player_id='1018641' first='Scott' last='Rigby'] - Junior Running Back - Collinsville

We mentioned earlier in this breakdown how we saw some fantastic workhorse running back performances but this was the best. Collinsville junior [player_tooltip player_id='1018641' first='Scott' last='Rigby'] would finis the night with 41 carries for 223 yards and accounted for all five touchdowns as the Cardinals beat Tahlequah 35-21. This was an incredibly important game for Collinsville and it keeps them in the hunt for a home playoff game and possibly more. When he's healthy, Rigby is one of the best running backs in Class 5A.

[player_tooltip player_id='858876' first='Tayveon' last='Parry'] - Junior Running Back - Union

Union junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='858876' first='Tayveon' last='Parry'] continues to enjoy a breakout season, truly becoming one of the running backs in the state's 2026 class that you need to keep an eye on. The Redhawks bounced back from a tough loss to Owasso by beating Norman North 56-27 on the road. Parry would dominate with 19 carries for 231 yards and four touchdowns. We thought that this season could be a breakout year for Parry after seeing him a handful of times this offseason but he's exceeded all expectations. .

[player_tooltip player_id='211570' first='Tres' last='Lorah'] - Senior Quarterback - Elgin

On the same day that Elgin senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='211570' first='Tres' last='Lorah'] was added to our PRZ-Oklahoma Player Of The Year Watchlist, he came out and had one of the more efficient games of the year. In a 44-0 win over Bridge Creek, Lorah would throw for just over 300 yards and a touchdown on 11-13 passing. This has been primarily a run-first offense so 300 yards in the air definitely caught our attention. This also comes a week after breaking the school's career passing touchdown record.
