Stillwater linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='2149526' first='Bryson' last='Brown'] is the perfect example of why ranking prospects is so difficult and sometimes players slip through the cracks. Right to the point, there's zero reason why BAYLOR commit [player_tooltip player_id='2149526' first='Bryson' last='Brown'] should be debuting in the 2027 rankings during the spring of his junior year. But we're happy to right this wrong and get him in here at #19 overall. Brown had a terrific junior season and was one part of a Stillwater linebacker group that we really liked. There is a lot of talent returning on this Pioneer defense, specifically at linebacker and in the secondary that has us excited about their potential in 2026. Brown is a violent linebacker that is a perfect representation of this Stillwater defense. He does a great job of getting from one point to another and always has bad intentions. And like we mentioned, Brown is a Baylor commit after giving his verbal earlier this offseason.

Broken Bow running back [player_tooltip player_id='1174139' first='Jattairrius' last='Neal'] was one of the biggest breakout stars from the 2025 season and that was on a team where the quarterback is arguably the most electric player in the state. Neal had a phenomenal junior campaign and debuts here at #28 overall and he's starting to knock on the door of being the top running back in this class. Neal has some very impressive film and the production is very clearly there. In the last couple weeks, we got a chance to watch Neal up close and in person during one of our 7v7 tournaments and were very pleasantly surprised with the size and overall build. He is not a small running back and he can absolutely go. At this time last year, not many around the state knew about Neal and we'll throw our hands up there. We didn't know much about him but it didn't take long once he got out there and now he's hungry for more in 2026.

We think there might be a sleeping giant at Mount St. Mary with [player_tooltip player_id='1837321' first='Zechariah' last='Robinson'] and that's saying something considering how much size and overall athleticism they have coming back for the 2026 season. Robinson is an absolute monster as a hybrid tight end that looks just as comfortable splitting out wide as he does working closer to the line of scrimmage. The blend of athleticism and overall size makes Robinson a very intriguing prospect to watch moving forward. We got a chance to watch Robinson in person in their toughest game of the year, against eventual champion Jones. Robinson had a really good showing against a salty Longhorn defense. Robinson has a ceiling of being a mutant prospect that is going to be much higher on this ranking when it's all said and done. For now, he's debuting here in the 2027 rankings at #45 overall and we'll be watching him closely this summer and fall.

Tonkawa made a run to the Class A-1 state championship game in 2025 and they have their sights set on a return to Edmond in 2026. And we think the Buccaneers could make it back when you look at some of the names they bring back on defense. And it starts up front with [player_tooltip player_id='1839826' first='Kade' last='Ditmore'] coming off the edge. Ditmore will also play some offense for Tonkawa this season at the tight end position but there is no doubt that his production was at it's best on the defensive side of the ball. Ditmore is an absolute monster coming off the edge and in our two chances to see Tonkawa in person, Ditmore was playing the game like a man possessed and was very fun to watch. He has size, good bend coming off the edge and a motor that doesn't seem to slow down. And he's just one of several players just like that on this Tonkawa defense. Ditmore was a breakout star in 2025 and debuts here at #77 overall.

Linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='820911' first='Houston' last='Bynum'] is a newcomer because he is a newcomer to Oklahoma this fall. Sort of. Bynum was a homeschool athlete earlier in his career in the Oklahoma City area. But he moved to Texas and was a fun linebacker to watch down there. But this offseason, it looks like Bynum is back in Oklahoma and we are pumped at where he landed. In Bynum's X profile, he lists Sulphur as his high school and there are few Oklahoma programs that would be a better fit for a linebacker needing a new home. The Bulldogs play hard, fast and very physical football from the opening snap until the final buzzer. So we are very interested in seeing what Bynum does this fall with the Bulldogs. We're looking forward to catching him in person at some point this offseason or in the fall. The physical linebacker checks in at #83 overall but with a solid senior season, that number could go up in a major way.
