is a guy who flew under the radar in the state’s 2027 class until last season. We knew about Brown coming into last year but he emerged as one of the top prospects at this position. It was pretty easy to like Brown when you put on the film because he was playing in a Stillwater defense that is just frankly very fun to watch. They attack and are aggressive from the opening kickoff until the final second. Brown excelled in that and he comes into this season with some momentum after a strong offseason. We got a chance to watch him in person a handful of times in the last 12 months and each time, he’s impressed. This offseason, he became another P4 commit in this linebacker group when he committed to Baylor.

appears to be ready to lead this Stillwater defense this season. Last year, the Pioneers were led by Kolone but now he’s at BYU. They need a new name to step up and be that disruptive and dominant defender in the front seven. Look for Brown to step into those shoes and excel. Brown is going to look the part on every field he steps on and it will be interesting to see what his overall production looks like this season. When we got a chance to watch Brown and the Pioneers in the spring, he was playing a middle linebacker role and roaming sideline to sideline with ease. He comes into 2026 as one of the top linebackers in 6A-2.

should be debuting in the 2027 rankings during the spring of his junior year. But we’re happy to right this wrong and get him in here at #19 overall. Brown had a terrific junior season and was one part of a Stillwater linebacker group that we really liked. There is a lot of talent returning on this Pioneer defense, specifically at linebacker and in the secondary that has us excited about their potential in 2026. Brown is a violent linebacker that is a perfect representation of this Stillwater defense. He does a great job of getting from one point to another and always has bad intentions. And like we mentioned, Brown is a Baylor commit after giving his verbal earlier this offseason.
