as being a potential breakout star for the Pioneers. He certainly lived up to the preseason hype and then some during his sophomore season. Adams ran for nearly 1,500 yards and 13 touchdowns with over 200 carries on the season. Adams was a prospect we were fired up to watch after hearing about his wrestling background. He plays the running back with a physical presence that defenses have troubles with. We don’t know how many broken tackles he ended up with in those 200+ carries but he probably was one of the leaders in the state in that category.

was one of our favorite players to watch in person throughout the 2025 season. Adams first got onto our radar a little over a year ago when he emerged in the spring as a legitimate rushing threat in the Stillwater offense. Then we find out that he has a very successful background in wrestling and that toughness definitely shined through during his sophomore season. Good luck trying to bring him down in a one on one situation. Adams is one of those players that you have to gang tackle or he’s just going to keep moving down the field. He is an absolute workhorse back that should get more attention around the state following a fantastic breakout sophomore season in 2025.

was one of the breakout stars from the 2028 class last fall. We first watched Adams up close last spring and it was apparent then that he had the chance to have a pretty special sophomore season. Then we watched him go to work in the fall and he turned out to be one of the best running backs in Class 6A-2. Adams is a very successful wrestler and that overall toughness was evident when he was carrying the ball 20-25 times a game. The Pioneers were not afraid to feed Adams the rock and he rarely got stopped and moved backwards. And if you tried to tackle him in a one on one situation, forget about it. Adams is another hard-nosed, physical running back that is going to fight and claw for every inch.

was a player that we were very excited to watch this season. He really impressed us back in the spring and he’s had a terrific start to his sophomore season. We caught Adams in person in their big win over Choctaw this week. He lived up to the hype. His backfield running mate at quarterback took all the touchdowns but Adams led the team in rushing and played with an incredibly physical style. There was one run in particular where it felt like he broke close to ten tackles and it eventually took three guys to bring him down. That’s the game for Adams as he’s one of the most physical runners in the state, regardless of class. He’s just scratching the surface on what he’ll be in two years.
