could end up going to work on either side of the ball and we think that he’ll be successful. We’ve seen Johnson in person with the pads on as well as in showcase camp and 7v7 tournament settings. We’ve seen him play a multitude of positions. Last month, we mainly watched him go to work at tight end. So while we have Johnson listed as a defensive lineman right now, that doesn’t mean anything. This young Stillwater standout is a football player and is going to be able to impact the game in a variety of ways. And speaking of athletic DNA, Johnson is another example of that. He could be primed for a breakout 2025 season this fall.

from Stillwater. He camped with us back in January and after watching him there, along with seeing him on the 7v7 circuit and then again on Saturday, Johnson has made a significant leap in his game during the last three months. Every time we’ve seen him, he continues to get better and better and that’s scary for Stillwater opponents moving forward. Especially when you consider that the Pioneers have two 2028 prospects on this breakdown that stole the show on Saturday. Johnson is a really good looking athlete and he could end up earning some early playing time.

Here’s the first of two campers on this breakdown that were listed as tight ends coming into the camp and ended up shining bright as defensive linemen. Stillwater’s

came into the camp as a tight end and performed really well during the drills. He did a great job receiving coaching and one thing that we’re already excited about is his size and that ability to get coached up. During the competition portion of the camp, Johnson was an absolute menace coming off the edge. He will go into high school and join a Stillwater team that has had a very aggressive front seven over the last few years. We’re looking forward to seeing how he fits and and how soon he impacts the varsity level.
