Back in 2023, Cascia Hall head coach Joe Medina told us that the Commandos were going to go from a run-heavy offense to more of a pass-first approach. The reason was obvious. They had a quarterback that was going to be able to shoulder that load and lead Cascia Hall’s passing attack to new heights. Barrett Mullen Barrett Mullen 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB Cascia Hall | 2026 State OK started for the Commandos for three seasons and he rewrote the record books for quarterbacks over the last three years. Mullen had Cascia Hall as one of the top offenses in Class 3A during his time and he has always been a quarterback prospect that has impressed us. The ceiling is high for him moving forward and he’s another guy that’s going to be able to help a program.

Senior quarterback Barrett Mullen Barrett Mullen 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB Cascia Hall | 2026 State OK is that three-year starter that we mentioned earlier that has completely rewritten the record books at Cascia Hall. Last season, Mullen threw for nearly 2,400 yards and 37 touchdowns with just ten interceptions. He’s thrown for around 5,500 yards and 63 touchdowns in the last two seasons alone. In our opinion, he’s one of the top quarterbacks in the state’s 2026 class and there’s a reason that D1 programs have started to pay attention to what he’s doing. Mullen’s touchdown number last season increased by 11 and what’s scary is we could see him increase that number again this season with a deep run in the playoffs.

Cascia Hall quarterback Barrett Mullen Barrett Mullen 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB Cascia Hall | 2026 State OK is another 2026 signal caller that has been on our radar for a while now. The summer before his sophomore season, Cascia Hall coach Joe Medina said the Commandos would start to throw it around more than ever before and the personnel had a lot to do with that decision. Mullen is that key part of the personnel because he can absolutely throw it around and has been lighting up opposing defenses over the last two seasons. There’s no doubt that Mullen has some legitimate threats on the outside at the wide receiver position but make no mistake, he’s the engine that makes this Cascia Hall offense go. He’s one of the more accurate quarterbacks in Oklahoma and has been able to put up some monster passing numbers.

This season, Mullen has emerged as one of the more efficient quarterbacks in Oklahoma. It still feels a little weird watching the Cascia Hall offense throwing the ball 30-35 times a game but it makes sense when you consider who the quarterback is. Mullen has put up some big numbers this fall and is another guy that has taken another step in his progression as a true pocket passer. Mullen shouldn’t be overlooked as an athlete by any means but he has been dissecting defenses all season and has Cascia Hall as a true team to watch as we go down the stretch of the regular season. Mullen is one of the top passers in the state.
