He’s a two-time state champion, thrown for well over 10,000 yards and has a ton of wins as QB1. Earlier this season, they had a 36-game winning streak snapped but they are still back to back champions and they don’t plan on giving up the crown anytime soon. Bernard is definitely one of the top quarterbacks in the state’s 2025 class and all you have to do is look at what he’s done over the past three seasons. He’s a winner and a guy that can take over a game in the blink of an eye and he’s done that consistently.

Last season, Bernard accounted for well over 4,000 yards of total offense. He also finished the year with 47 passing touchdowns and 17 touchdowns on the ground. Between the production week after week and leading his team to another state championship, Bernard was a no-brainer to become a finalist for our Player Of The Year award. So needless to say, coming into the 2024 season, Bernard is already on our short list for this year’s award. Bernard was a star and produced at a high level, no matter the competition. 

Out in northwestern Oklahoma, you’ll find a quarterback who is a two-time state champion, one of the more productive quarterbacks in the class and is still somehow flying under the radar.
