The defending champs had to find someone to replace Blake Perez and that wasn’t going to be an easy task when you consider the production he had at the running back position. Junior running back Grant Church Grant Church 5'11" | RB Fairview | 2025 OK came into this season as the player to expect to break out at running back and he’s been able to back up the preseason hype. Church leads the team in carries and he comes into Saturday’s title clash with over ten touchdowns. When the Yellowjackets have gone to him, he’s been able to produce.

will step into the role following the graduation of Blake Perez in May. Church won’t be new to the position as he got into plenty of games last season backing up Perez and there was plenty of “mop up duty” for Church and some of the Fairview back ups. He accounted for over 400 yards and seven touchdowns last season. We anticipate that production to absolutely explode this fall as he becomes the new backfield mate with quarterback
