is another 2025 running back that brings a wealth of experience to the table. It feels like he’s been starting for Bristow for six years by now but he continues to elevate his game and this season is the perfect example of that. Coming into this season, we thought that Dansby was a nice player that had some potential on either side of the ball at running back or linebacker. This season, he’s been one of the best running backs in Class 3A and he’s a big reason why Bristow looks like a dark horse to make some noise when the playoffs begin next week. You can’t argue with the production or the versatility from a player like Dansby, who has excelled in multiple offenses.

is another example of that. Dansby grabbed our attention very early in his high school career and is going to be a fun player to watch this season. For the first few years, Dansby was known as a running back and that’s what we still have him listed as. But we’re very intrigued with what he’s going to be able to do on defense in the secondary. Dansby could turn himself into one of the better two-way players in Class 3A this season. We have no questions about what he can do on offense.

at the running back position and on the defensive side of the ball. In some of Bristow’s biggest wins this season, it’s been Dansby that has shined brightest with the football in his hands. They are coming off a tough loss to Cascia Hall and have another critical district match-up this week against Holland Hall. Bristow is no stranger to the playoffs and they are no stranger to having dominant running backs. And it looks like they have another one with Dansby toting the rock.

is heading into his junior season with the Pirates. Bristow’s coaches have been high on Dansby since he was a freshman and his career has played out that way so far. Dansby is on the shortlist of players that we’re excited to see this season. He showed signs of being a marquee back last season in various games throughout the regular season. Now that Dansby should get the majority of the carries with Ware graduating, we could see that production really go up. Bristow is still going to have balance and spread the love but don’t be surprised if Dansby puts up big numbers.
