The season didn’t end the way they’d like, but we are confident in saying this was Pryor’s best team in school history. Leading the way was quarterback Braden Ward Braden Ward 6'1" | QB Pryor | 2026 State OK and he has a lot in common with the other quarterbacks on this breakdown. Three year starter, put up monster numbers, led his program to new heights. Ward emerged this season as one of the state’s best quarterbacks. He’s always been a guy that has been knocking on the door but this season, he erased any doubt about his abilities at the quarterback position. He’s another great example of a quarterback that is just going to help a program at the next level. He has been outstanding this season at spreading the ball around in this offense.

Pryor senior quarterback Braden Ward Braden Ward 6'1" | QB Pryor | 2026 State OK will be going into his third year as QB1 of the Tiger offense. Last season, he took his game to new heights and truly became one of the more dynamic quarterbacks in Class 5A. You could make the argument that he was the best quarterback in 5A football in 2024 and he’ll expect to be just that in 2025. Last season, Ward threw for just under 2,800 yards and 35 touchdowns, leading a high-powered Pryor passing attack. But Ward would also add nearly 600 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground. Ward’s experience and overall talent level is a big reason why we like Pryor to make a run in 2025.
