in person and the arrow has been pointing up ever since. LeFrere saw plenty of playing time for Pryor as a freshman but mostly on the defensive side of the ball. As a sophomore, he played both ways and was a fun player to watch as the Tigers had arguably the best season in recent memory. A month ago, LeFrere announced that he was on the move and landed with 6A-1 champion Bixby. A couple things stand out about this move. First, it’s obviously a step up in competition for LeFrere as he joins one of the top programs in the country. But it will be interesting to see how Bixby uses him and his abilities on offense and defense this spring and into the fall.

is a name that we’re very high on moving forward after throwing on the film, seeing his legitimate production as a freshman and then seeing him in person this offseason. LeFrere got meaningful playing time on both sides of the ball and was very impactful on defense. He was one of the team’s leaders with five interceptions. We got a chance to see him go to work a handful of times this offseason and his abilities on the offensive side of the ball will make him a match-up nightmare for opposing defenses. Especially when you consider how much firepower Pryor brings back on offense. LeFrere has a lot of potential moving forward as a 2028 prospect.

debuts in the latest ranking update in the Top 15. Pryor isn’t a program that produces that elite level of prospect year after year but they have an absolute gem with LeFrere. We’ve watched LeFrere in person at a couple times this offseason, at our 7v7 tournament and our showcase camp. In both instances, LeFrere was one of the top players on the football field. Then we also checked out his film and LeFrere was performing at an incredibly high level. He produced in a major way on the defensive side of the ball. Whether he’s on offense or defense, LeFrere has the potential of being an absolute star. He has size, real speed and legitimate production. So it feels like he’s just scratching the surface on what he’ll be moving forward.
