is the big target that has proven time and time again that he’s one of the better receivers in 5A football. Last year, Parks only had 30 catches on the season and still went for over 800 yards and ten touchdowns. A third of his catches were touchdowns and he averaged over 25 yards per catch. Parks is that prototypical big play target that is going to be a quarterback’s best friend as the Tigers get near the end zone. He also tore it up on the 7v7 circuit this offseason and in our opinion, is one of the most underrated prospects in the state’s 2027 class going into this year.

from Pryor. We first started watching Parks last fall and in our opinion, he immediately passed the eye test and he was a big reason why the Tigers had their best season in recent memory. Then we got a chance to watch him in person at our camp and 7v7 tournament and once again, he impressed us with his overall speed to go along with his size and reliable hands. Parks is a weapon and it’s somewhat baffling that he’s still flying under the radar. And quite honestly, we probably have him too low here and he’ll probably prove us wrong soon.

is our final 2027 prospect on this breakdown and he is such an intriguing prospect to follow over the next 12 months. We’ve admitted that Parks had been flying under the radar coming into this season. That quickly changed and it didn’t take long for him to become a name we wanted to know more about. Watching him in person and then seeing the production he’s had this season has sold us that he’s going to be a hidden gem in this 2027 class. It feels like his best football is still ahead of him and he could even transition to more of a hybrid tight end role in the future. He’s big and dynamic and has been a big part of Pryor’s explosive offense.
