The second annual Oklahoma Open took place on Saturday in Broken Arrow. Because of bad weather forecast on Sunday, the event was moved to Saturday only so the action started early and was fast throughout the day. In the 18U division, C4 had another strong showing with some of southeastern Oklahoma's best athletes in attendance. In this breakdown, we're taking a look at six of those athletes that really stood out in one way or another throughout the morning and afternoon in Broken Arrow!

[player_tooltip player_id='1832142' first='Aiden' last='Orr'] - 2027 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Tishomingo

Tishomingo 2027 wide receiver and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1832142' first='Aiden' last='Orr'] is a perfect example of why we love doing these tournaments. Coming into the event on Saturday, we didn't know that much about Orr but it didn't take long for him to get on our radar. Orr was making consistent plays on both sides of the ball and the thing that impressed us the most about him was how big the plays were. He would catch big touchdowns down the stretch or clutch interceptions on defense. He also didn't shy away from some physical play during the tournament. He made some very tough catches in traffic and found a way to secure the ball and complete the play. We didn't know about Orr prior to the tourney but we will definitely be following his game moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1525562' first='Greydon' last='Howell'] - 2027 Quarterback - Broken Bow

Broken Bow 2027 quarterback and Oklahoma wide receiver commit [player_tooltip player_id='1525562' first='Greydon' last='Howell'] was one of, if not the top overall prospect in attendance this weekend in Broken Arrow. And it showed throughout the morning and afternoon. Some of the throws that Howell made looked effortless and they were very difficult passes. Then we watched him go to work at the wide receiver position and he is so shifty in the open field that even in a 7v7 setting where you just need to tag the player, that was still difficult for defenders. There's a reason why Howell is considered the most electric athlete in Oklahoma right now and he put some of that playmaking ability on full display this weekend. He was a Player Of The Year finalist last fall and it showed this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1174139' first='Jattairrius' last='Neal'] - 2027 Running Back - Broken Bow

Howell's backfield running mate [player_tooltip player_id='1174139' first='Jattairrius' last='Neal'] had a strong showing this weekend as well. Neal was one of the breakout stars of the 2025 football season with Broken Bow so we were excited to see him up close and in person this weekend. He passes the eye test immediately. From a physical standpoint, Neal checks a lot of boxes and then you watch him run around and we're even higher on him moving forward than we were prior to the weekend. In a 7v7 setting, it was all about making plays as a pass catcher and Neal did plenty of that throughout the morning and afternoon. This is a 2027 running back that we are very high on moving forward and with our 2027 ranking update coming out next week, Neal will be one of the biggest risers in the bunch.

Kayden Fenwick - 2027 Wide Receiver - Durant

We didn't see every offensive play for C4 throughout the day on Saturday. But we wouldn't be shocked if Durant 2027 wide receiver Kayden Fenwick was their leading receiver. It seemed like every time we were watching, Fenwick was on the other end of throws from Howell or Griffith. He had a really strong showing throughout the morning and into the afternoon. And just like with Orr out of Tishomingo, Fenwick was not a name that we knew about prior to the tournament. But he was a really good route runner that routinely got open. And because of that, he was fed the ball quite a bit throughout the tournament. He made tough catches look easy and I don't believe he dropped a single pass while we were watching them in action.

[player_tooltip player_id='1171159' first='Kyng' last='Golston'] - 2027 Tight End - Valliant

Valliant 2027 defensive end [player_tooltip player_id='1171159' first='Kyng' last='Golston'] is known for being a quarterback's worst nightmare during the fall. He's one of the most dominant DL prospects in the state. But this weekend, he was a quarterback's best friend as a hybrid tight end and the ultimate weapon in the red zone. Golston made big catch after big catch for C4 when they needed a score and they were inside the 10-yard line. This guy was a match-up nightmare for defenses not only because of the size advantage that Golston has but he got to showcase his athletic ability. This guy has a little spring in his step and can get up and snag the ball out of the air. He was a very fun player to watch throughout the day on Saturday and he's one of the top available 2027 prospects in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1524935' first='Landen' last='Griffith'] - 2027 Quarterback/Defensive Back - Talihina

We were fired up to see Talihina standout [player_tooltip player_id='1524935' first='Landen' last='Griffith'] running around with this C4 squad this weekend. Griffith was mostly playing on the defensive side of the ball with Howell starting at quarterback. But Griffith would also get into the game on offense when Howell moved over to wide receiver. Griffith is a terrific athlete and made most of his plays on the defensive side of the ball. But when he was in at quarterback, it was fun to watch him go through his progressions and get the ball where it needed to be. Like Howell, Griffith was a finalist for Player Of The Year last fall and it's easy to see why when you see him go to work and some of the production he's had in the last two seasons. He's another terrific two-way player in southeastern Oklahoma.
