Su’a is one of the more under-rated linebackers in the state and is a athletic and dynamic athlete that can run and cover in space while banging inside the box and is able to quickly knife into the backfield and make plays behind the line. He is another prospect that would be a big time steal at the FCS level and is one of the top available at his position across California heading into his senior year.

Su’a had 55 tackles, two sacks and an interception for Mater Dei last season.
He has sideline-to-sideline speed and can be an every-down linebacker due to his ability to cover well in the passing game. Su’a can take on blockers well and has good short-area quickness. He reads offenses well and can determine run or pass quickly. Su’a doesn’t have any offers yet but is one of the more under-recruited players in the class.

Only a matter of time until the offers start rolling in for Su’a who was the second leading tackler on the top ranked team in the country as a sophomore. He’s an attacking defender that flies around playing sideline to sideline and is violent through contact. Shows he can be a three down LB with his abilities as a run stopper and when dropping back into coverage. Flashes great instincts to diagnose run/pass, read the flow of the play, and trigger to the ball with speed. Colleges will like his short area quickness and burst to close. Great ability to take on blockers and then use his hands to separate and disengage from contact. Demonstrates that he can operate in space and take good angles to break down and be a reliable one on one tackler in the open field. Plays with good pad level and leverage throughout the play. Voted to the PRZ All-South California Sophomore team and is the seventh ranked LB in the 2027 class.
