Wilson is a standout defender for Basha constantly attacking and making plays. At 6’0” 200 lbs. he possesses the positional versatility and skillset to play any LB position or drop and operate as nickel or safety when needed. No matter where he lines up, he plays with speed and a high motor, consistently locating the football and impacting the play. He shows a quick trigger against the run, working downhill with violence and accelerating through contact as a tackler. In coverage, he displays good field awareness, reading the QB’s eyes and stepping into throwing lanes to disrupt passes and create turnovers. His range and instincts allow him to be effective playing at all three levels of the defense.
