Agard stands out as the best CB I’ve watched on tape this year, excelling in various aspects. His footwork, pad level, breaking, and playmaking ability are all top-notch. Whether employing off technique or press-man, he proves to be a lockdown defender. Omillio is also a physical and reliable open-field tackler, showcasing his big-time playmaking ability through interception returns for touchdowns. It’ll be intriguing to witness this blue-chip recruit matched up in man coverage against North Allegheny. Wisconsin is gaining a shutdown defender who will undoubtedly be a factor in the 6A State Championship. Omillio consistently neutralizes the opposing team’s top target in coverage.

Another update, another top ranking for SJP’s Omillio Agard Omillio Agard 5'11" | 160 lbs | DB St. Joseph's Prep | 2024 State PA . This time, however, there’s a different feel around Agard at the top. Almost giving the sense that Agard is on the hot seat a bit. Agard and company should hardly care, as the top-ranked corner announced his commitment to Wisconsin football, now squarely focused on winning a title as a senior and growing as a future Badger. Agard’s evaluation obviously hasn’t changed, yet I’ve heard rumblings that he wasn’t a take at many schools that offered him earlier in the year. Again, I still love the complete package he presents on the field, balance, hips, hands, and catch-up speed are all elite tier.

When I think of college-ready defensive backs in the state, two come to mind. The first being Imhotep’s Rahmir Stewart Rahmir Stewart 6'0" | 205 lbs | DB Imhotep | 2023 State PA . The second, Prep’s Omillio Agard Omillio Agard 5'11" | 160 lbs | DB St. Joseph's Prep | 2024 State PA . His complete skillset translates smoothly to the next level. There isn’t a corner, or a prospect, at the high school level who doesn’t have areas to work or improve on. Agard isn’t the perfect corner prospect but he’s pretty damn close to it from a skillset perspective. The secondary at SJP will continue to wreak havoc against opposing wideouts, yet I am intrigued as to how opposing offenses attack the secondary without SEC-corner Keenan Nelson manning the other corner spot. Agard defending some of the PCL’s top talents will be must-watch football in Philadelphia.
