, who is still just in 8th grade, had a positive showing if you are investing in his future. Roby had very light feet, so much so that although I watched him drive them into the ground I could not hear them. Vision was clear, as Roby’s vision allowed him to set up defenders. His most stunning play was when he got himself in space and spun back against a linebacker who had his feet improperly angled. Roby should, however, chin the ball more. Too often I noticed him take his reps with the ball low and away from his body.

Tamarkius Rby Jr. showed an impressive blend of power and athleticism throughout the NJ Exposure Series, standing out as a downhill runner that plays with a consistent forward lean. He has the traits to develop into a punishing ball carrier, capable of wearing down defenders and finishing runs with force. His 40-yard dash (4.82s) time was especially impressive considering his age and the fact that he was competing against upperclassmen. What separated him even more was his agility in space. Roby Jr. moved well laterally, showed quick feet, and demonstrated the ability to make defenders miss in the open field. Tamarkius brings a strong combination of toughness, burst, and elusiveness that gives him intriguing upside heading into the summer.

Tamarkius Roby Jr. may be one of the most hyped offensive weapon heading into the PRZ NJ Exposure Series event. A true athlete on the field, this 2030 prospect can shine at every position. Heading into the weekend ready to show off his RB skills, Tamarkius is poised to show his speed and explosiveness out of the backfield. I fully expect him to run some routes as well, and excel there too.
