has a motor that cannot be stopped. Zats is an animal at defensive tackle and his pass rushing moves are pretty impressive too. The 2027 prospect could be in line for a monster junior season with the defending state champions.

doesn’t have “Hudl” tape. He does, however, have a particularly short Youtube tape showing off some great reps at IDL. What must be understood, Zats is developing under the St. Joseph’s Prep umbrella, Zats is going to have to prove to the coaching staff that he’s worthy of being elevated to the A team at some point down the line. I am not going to fault him for placing behind several fantastic IDL at the program. I would like to see a longer tape though. A frequent PRZ Next camper, a name I’m familiar with, I have a hunch Zats will only improve moving forward, so his rank is justified. Tape shows Zats strikes well off the snap, good counter moves, good initial shock to match his opponent. It’s good to see him winning and creating penetration at this level. I’ll have my eye on him moving forward.

played defensive tackle for St. Joseph’s Prep last year on the Junior Varsity. Zats shows good strength and push from his defensive tackle position. Zats provided both run support and pass rush from his defensive tackle position. He also has good speed by chasing down ball carriers in the backfield. Zats showed promise last year and should be able to play varsity next year.

-Personally, one of my favorite kids at the camp because of the way he carried himself and the 110% effort he put in from the moment he walked in the doors. Honestly, the type of kid any high school coach in America would want in their program
-Spoke with him several times at camp expressing that he has ability and work ethic, just needs to find what position he needs to focus on putting his training towards. He’s a bit of a tweener between Linebacker and Defensive Lineman right now
-Zats came to camp as a Linebacker and measured in at 5-foot-10 and 232-pounds. He then popped off a 5.09 in the forty, which was the third fastest at the position. Without knowing scheme or any of that important information about his future high school team, I feel he could become a very, good high school and potential D2/D3 player if he transitioned to a Defensive End
