McGlynn is an Army commit who also received offers from Navy and Harvard. Nick plays with good knee bend and a low center of gravity. He’s pretty athletic overall and moves well tracking the football laterally. With football intelligence, he reads his run-to-pass keys quickly. He’s physical, shedding blockers in run pursuit, and has a nose for the ball. McGlynn is a great zone dropper capable of intercepting and returning a pass for a TD. I also suspect Nick will be a regular special teams contributor at Army. It will be fun watching Nick go up against OL like Jack Yatchenko Jack Yatchenko 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL North Allegheny | 2025 State PA from North Allegheny.

It goes without fail, Nick McGlynn Nick McGlynn 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB St. Joseph's Prep | 2024 State PA is the latest Pennsylvania piece scooped up by the academy. McGlynn was the hottest prospect in the state in terms of FCS interest, the clear prized possession among that conference. McGlynn has a top-five ceiling, especially will the Trotter’s now out of the picture. High ceiling.

Nick McGlynn Nick McGlynn 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB St. Joseph's Prep | 2024 State PA doesn’t get enough love on the site, both in terms of ranking and articles. The right schools have targeted the right talent, with numerous FCS programs pulling the trigger on the senior linebacker. You could argue that McGlynn is the jewel of local FCS programs, all of which are clamoring for position when courting the young man. He’d be an instant difference-maker at that level, in my opinion. Both Army and Navy are high on McGlynn as well.

Another embarrassing ranking. There might not be a hotter name in the month of April. This kid picked up an offer as I was writing this story. I should know better, Nick McGlynn Nick McGlynn 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB St. Joseph's Prep | 2024 State PA has picked up six FCS offers in the span of 8 weeks, adding two military academy offers out of Army and Navy. I am sometimes too weary of placing every St. Joseph’s Prep prospect ahead of others, simply because of the umbrella of development kids fall under when attending the school. That’s no excuse for having Nick McGlynn Nick McGlynn 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB St. Joseph's Prep | 2024 State PA outside the top 150, let alone 300. He checks off so many boxes, the linebackers before and around him might have thrown off my personal grade despite the young man’s production around big names like Josiah Trotter Josiah Trotter 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB St. Joseph's Prep | 2023 State PA . Excited to represent him correctly.
