CAPISTRANO VALLEY VS. WESTERN

[player_tooltip player_id='1279271' first='Colin' last='Hooper'] has been Spencer's go-to target along with Brody Saavedra. [player_tooltip player_id='1269651' first='Damon' last='Epstein'] has gotten in the backfield for Capo Valley's defense and [player_tooltip player_id='1700801' first='Jake' last='Beisel'] is a run stopper. Jack Schwenn has three interceptions and the Cougars have forced 14 turnovers.
LA COSTA CANYON VS. MISSION HILLS

Mission Hills is 5-0 and is an Open Division candidate with a good win over Granite Hills. Penn State commit [player_tooltip player_id='401299' first='Troy' last='Huhn'] has been very good at quarterback for Mission Hills as expected. Myzael Quackenbush has been solid at receiver for the Grizzlies. La Costa Canyon is 5-0 and has won every game by at least 14 points. [player_tooltip player_id='401286' first='Quinn' last='Roth'] has thrown for 190 yards per game with 12 touchdowns and [player_tooltip player_id='1598369' first='Coby' last='Herman'] has run for 132 yards per game with nine touchdowns. Ryan Scully leads La Costa Canyon's defense and Ian Dunford has two interceptions. It's rare to get a matchup between two potential Open Division teams in the regular season and this one could go either way.

MATER DEI VS. ORANGE LUTHERAN

The last time we saw Orange Lutheran, they were getting dominated by an excellent Sierra Canyon team. Regan Toki has been a pleasant surprise at quarterback completing 69 percent of his passes for 202 yards per game with nine touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id='676963' first='Nico' last='Bland'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1197219' first='Chris' last='Flores'] Jr. have been his favorite targets. A key note in this game is Northwestern commit [player_tooltip player_id='780472' first='Sean' last='Morris'] is eligible at running back for the Lancers. Mater Dei is coming off a fantastic win over Bishop Gorman where [player_tooltip player_id='1284693' first='Ryan' last='Hopkins'] threw for 251 yards with three touchdowns. The Monarchs finally got [player_tooltip player_id='401316' first='Mark' last='Bowman'] involved in the offense and he had 105 yards receiving with two touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id='1197619' first='Aaryn' last='Washington'] had a great game in the secondary and [player_tooltip player_id='1197606' first='Ezekiel' last='Su'a'] led the defense in tackles. I think the addition of Morris will make this game closer than people expect.

SANTA MARGARITA VS. SERVITE

Santa Margarita was shutout by Bishop Gorman last week but its defense held the Gaels to just seven points. [player_tooltip player_id='1705993' first='Trace' last='Johnson'] moved the ball well at quarterback for the Eagles but had two interceptions. [player_tooltip player_id='958824' first='Grant' last='Mosley'] was the Eagles' top receiver with injuries to his brother Trent and tight end Luke Gazzaniga. [player_tooltip player_id='283606' first='Dash' last='Fifita'] led Santa Margarita's defense with two sacks and [player_tooltip player_id='283645' first='Manoah' last='Faupusa'] was a load on the interior of the defensive line. Servite is on a four game winning streak and dominated St. Paul last week. [player_tooltip player_id='1717982' first='Kalé' last='Murphy'] threw three touchdown passes and [player_tooltip player_id='1742104' first='Jorden' last='Wells'] had two rushing touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id='1698851' first='Benjamin' last='Harris'] had 127 yards receiving with three touchdowns. This could be a defensive battle and Servite will need a couple of big plays against Santa Margarita's stout defense to win.
