Caldwell caught 62 passes for 834 yards with nine touchdowns last season for Vista Murrieta.
He also had offers from Northern Arizona, Nevada, Air Force, Weber State, Dartmouth and Eastern Washington. Caldwell is the tenth player from California in Cal Poly’s 2026 recruiting class and the first receiver.

Caldwell is a true vertical threat that can stretch the field and has a huge catch radius downfield with deceptive speed due to his long strides and ability to chunk yards with ease. He has a huge catch radius, strong hands in traffic and tracking the ball well over the top with good body control and balance. He nearly went for 1,000 yards in his Junior season and tacked on another 10 touchdowns. He is a very intriguing prospect for the next level due to position versatility and could be used either as a slot or outside receiver and will only continue to pack on weight to his massive frame.

6’5” 185 lb. WR who is ranked in the top 50 at his position and should continue to rise. Size and reach make him a mismatch for any secondary defender. Plus route runner that is creative in his releases at the LOS and can get in and out of his breaks at the top. Drops his hip level and can accelerate changing directions. Huge catch radius to play the ball outside his framework, does tend to let the ball get into his body at times. Can run by coverage and stretch the field vertically with his speed. Through seven games this season he has 35 receptions for 554 yards and six touchdowns.
