ST. JOHN BOSCO

St. John Bosco is one of the top two teams in the state and will be led by sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='959174' first='Koa' last='Malau'ulu'], who threw for 151 yards per game with 19 touchdowns and just seven interceptions as a freshman. Bosco's receiving corps is loaded with Texas A&M commit [player_tooltip player_id='209113' first='Madden' last='Williams'], San Jose State commit [player_tooltip player_id='401226' first='Carson' last='Clark'], Oklahoma commit [player_tooltip player_id='283605' first='Daniel' last='Odom'], Sacramento State commit [player_tooltip player_id='1598321' first='Christian' last='Davis'] and elite sophomore Darren Tubbs Jr. The secondary features junior Isala Wily-Ava, USC commit [player_tooltip player_id='283632' first='Josh' last='Holland'], sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1621220' first='Brandon' last='Nash'] and juniors [player_tooltip player_id='1382563' first='Dillon' last='Davis'] and [player_tooltip player_id='742470' first='Dorian' last='Franklin']. The linebacking corps has [player_tooltip player_id='1197597' first='Josiah' last='Poyer'], UCLA commit [player_tooltip player_id='1598320' first='Matthew' last='Muasau'], [player_tooltip player_id='1197527' first='Justin' last='Coach'], [player_tooltip player_id='1197526' first='Ethan' last='Coach']. The Coach twins have lit it up this offseason earning MVP honors at multiple camps.

MATER DEI CATHOLIC

The Crusaders are full of very good receivers but it remains unclear who will throw them the ball. Lefty Victor Voneiff and Jacob Gonzales are two guys you may see throw passes this weekend. [player_tooltip player_id='1382559' first='Julian' last='Cromartie'] leads the receiving corps and has offers from Arizona State, Boston College and San Diego State among others. [player_tooltip player_id='1182981' first='Larell' last='Parker'] had 671 yards receiving with eight touchdowns last season and Mehki Oluwa is a sleeper two-way player who I like at receiver. Diego Mendoza is a returning two-way guy and [player_tooltip player_id='1620260' first='Kamari' last='Alfred'] was a top 15U receiver at the PRZ Sunshine Classic. [player_tooltip player_id='1661238' first='Noah' last='Ellingson'] is another young receiver to keep an eye on. Outside linebacker Noah Cook leads the defense with Jordan Dumaran who also plays running back.

SAN CLEMENTE

Quarterback is a mystery for San Clemente with no returning varsity starter, but Luke Hardy and junior [player_tooltip player_id='1758285' first='Eiler' last='King'] appear to be competing for the job. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='661909' first='Jaxson' last='Rex'] (Utah State offer) will be a leading receiver for the Tritons and Jesse Torres got some reps at receiver last season. The Tritons lost a lot of talent on defense, particularly at the skill positions but Damian Martinez is a player to keep an eye on along with Carson Sloan. Sloan also plays running back for San Clemente.

Defensively, Corona del Mar has some key returners back including lacrosse star [player_tooltip player_id='1797946' first='Tucker' last='Murray'], Damian Zeno-Herrera and [player_tooltip player_id='283596' first='Cash' last='Pearsall'], who was a promising player at Orange Lutheran in 2023.

SERVITE

The headliner for Servite is tight end [player_tooltip player_id='1183031' first='Luke' last='Sorensen'] who recently announced his commitment to Nebraska. Mission Viejo transfer Kale Murphy is a favorite to start at quarterback for the Friars but keep an eye on freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1285198' first='Jacob' last='Powell'] who is huge and drawing some attention this offseason. Long Beach Poly transfer [player_tooltip player_id='1698851' first='Benjamin' last='Harris'] leads the receiving corps with Steele Holcomb, and [player_tooltip player_id='1695404' first='Kamil' last='Pelovello'], [player_tooltip player_id='1742104' first='Jorden' last='Wells'], [player_tooltip player_id='1742128' first='Jace' last='Wells'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1742164' first='Jaelen' last='Hunter'] are four sophomores who were on the track team that set state records. Defensively, sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1621233' first='Kaleb' last='Aiava'] is one of the top safeties in the class and [player_tooltip player_id='1197211' first='Isaiah' last='Leilua'] is a linebacker to watch along with Brando Mosqueda. [player_tooltip player_id='1554681' first='Adrian' last='Martinez'] had three interceptions for the Frars last season.
