Prototype cover corner with the length, fluidity, and confidence college staffs look for. Plays with loose hips and clean footwork, allowing him to stay in phase throughout the route. Comfortable in man coverage and shows the patience and discipline to mirror without panicking. Uses his length well at the catch point, consistently shrinking windows and forcing tight throws. Competes with a calm edge, trusting his technique and understanding leverage. Transitions smoothly out of his pedal and closes ground quickly when the ball is in the air. Shows natural ball skills and awareness in coverage, not just an athlete playing the position. Projects as a high-level boundary corner with the tools to match up against top receivers and hold his own early in his college career.

Williams moves up several spots to #1 overall in the 2027 class. He’s an elite DB prospect and one of the top in the nation in what is widely regarded as a deep and highly competitive position group. Versatile skillset that can take over a game on either side of the ball but on defense he’s a true lockdown corner with the ability to thrive in man coverage against top tier competition. His advanced ball skills, fluid change of direction, and top-end speed make him a constant threat in coverage and a playmaker on the perimeter. 36 offers including many of the nation’s premier programs, he’s one of the most sought-after recruits in the country.

Williams is a two-way star who shined Sunday.
He is a long strider who changes direction on a dime and explodes out of his breaks.
At receiver, he tracks the ball well and wins 50/50 balls. As a defensive back, he his always in the hip pocket of the receiver and is physical without drawing flags.
Nebraska offered him Monday and Texas A&M offered him over the weekend.

Duvay is part of a very talented Freshmen class at Serra, and checks into our rankings as the number two overall defensive back in this class, and is another no brainer power five national recruit. Currently he holds offers from Arizona, Tennessee, USC, Georgia and Kentucky. He is an elite cover corner that can play out on an island with tremendous ball skills and return abilities with top end speed and long strides to cover ground in a hurry. Offensively, he is a true deep threat on the outside that covers a ton of ground downfield and can track the ball over the top and make contested catches. Williams also shows he can win on 50/50 balls and can easily get in defenders blind spots before breaking with the top end speed to break away in the clear. Just a tremendous and explosive two-way athlete for one of the more respected programs in the state, he is poised for a monster Sophomore campaign.

Williams- a standout performer at last April’s PRZ CA Showcase- has added offers from Georgia, Tennessee, USC, and UNLV over the past month after showing elite traits and athleticism as a freshman. He possesses a rare combination of speed, lengthy, fluidity, and ball skills on both sides of the ball (WR/DB). He’s a rangy, instinctive perimeter CB that shows coverage skills in both man and zone, utilizes his reach effectively, and plays physical in the flat. He’s a legitimate vertical threat on offense with the body control, ball tracking, and concentration downfield to complete difficult catches and dominate 1v1 matchups on the outside. Williams is a budding national prospect that figures to be among the top of the class once Prep Redzone CA’s first edition of 2027 rankings come out.
