As a sophomore backup at powerhouse Mater Dei, he logged 8 tackles (6 solo) and 4 passes defended across 8 games, showing flashes in limited snaps against elite competition. His play pops with his length in press coverage; he disrupts at the line and has recovery speed to mirror vertical routes. He’s raw but has high-ceiling traits—smooth hips, ball skills from playing both sides of the ball early on. Needs to bulk up for physicality against bigger Power 5 receivers and refine footwork to avoid grabs in phase. At Sierra Canyon, expect more reps to accelerate his growth. Ramos is another prospect that see’s his stock rise in our most recent rankings release and is now inside the top 30 overall and a top 12 player at his position heading into his Sophomore season campaign for the top team in the state. He has elite length and size for the safety position with still room to grow and develop and is a no-brainer P4 caliber player with good upside. He is a very strong and physical tackler that has good range in the back end, recovery length and speed and plays physical in the box/is violent at the POA. Currently, he holds offers from ASU, Maryland, North Carolina, Idaho, Colorado State among others.
