He’s a big safety who covers a ton of the field and can move into the box against certain personnel packages when the pads come on. Baker recently flipped from Cal to UCLA and was dominant on Saturday.

Baker committed to Cal in March and flipped his commitment to UCLA on Friday.

He had 34 tackles, 10 for a loss, one sack, two forced fumbles and two interceptions for Sierra Canyon last season.

Baker is one of 13 players from California in UCLA’s 2027 recruiting class and one of five defensive backs.

Baker had 34 tackles, 10 for a loss, one sack, two forced fumbles and two interceptions for Sierra Canyon last season.

He had 25 other offers including LSU, Oregon and Stanford among others. Baker is the first player from Southern California in Cal’s 2027 recruiting class and the first defensive back.
