Coach had 36 tackles, two for a loss and a fumble recovery for Bosco last season.

Justin and his brother Ethan are the first two players from California in Washington’s 2027 recruiting class.

St. John Bosco linebacker Justin Coach Justin Coach 6'3" | 215 lbs | LB St. John Bosco | 2027 State CA picked up an offer from Michigan on Wednesday.

Coach had 36 tackles, two for a loss and a fumble recovery for Bosco last season.

He was the MVP of the Under Armour Next camp last offseason. Michigan is the first school to offer him since the season ended and he had offers from Ohio State, Washington and UCLA among others last offseason.

Coach was able to hang with the speedy running backs on the deep routes and smother them on underneath routes. He closes to the ball quickly on underneath routes and is just the right amount of physical.

Coach is most likely going to find his home as a rush end/outside linebacker in college but has had a very productive off-season so far after his Varsity frosh campaign for the Braves. He is up to five offers from ASU, Arizona, BYU, Cal and UNLV and should see a slew of others come his way as he gets going during camp season in June. He is extremely explosive and violent off the edge and can bend around the corner, jack up blockers in their chest and has a quick use of hands at the POA. He will continue turning into one of the top pass rushers across the state and be one of the more sought after kids on the west coast over the next three years.

He was getting his hands on the ball and was able to hang with nearly all the running backs on deeper balls.

Coach has an excellent frame for a 2027 guy and has a ton of upside.

Coach checks into our WL ranking after a very productive frosh campaign for one of the top top programs in the county and has a very bright future for the Braves. He is a well put together kid with a strong upper body, and powerful lower half that triggers quickly, plays fast and gets downhill in a hurry and is a sure tackler inside the tackles. He also shows great natural instincts around the ball and flows quickly while able to redirect and COD both when applying pressure and when in coverage. Look for Coach to be a potential candidate to crack into our overall rankings in the next update and is one of the more experienced second year players in the region heading into 2024.
