Committed: Colgate University
Notes: Villalobos has been the starting center for the Braves for the past several years, and is a nasty interior mauler that got overlooked due to his height but has been dominant in the Trinity League. He is a high FCS or FBS caliber player regardless and a big time steal for Colgate.

Villalobos was the starting center for Bosco last season and will play right guard this season. He’s a good run blocker on combo blocks and does good job getting to the second level on time. Villalobos does a nice job staying engaged with the defender on run plays and can leverage them with his arms. As a pass blocker, he has a wide base, does a good job keeping his hips square to the line of scrimmage and replaces his hands well. Southern Miss offered him last summer but he’s an under-recruited guy who should have more buzz.

Villalobos is a good interior guy who sets well and never gives up too much ground. He replaces his hands well, has quick feet and his hips are square. He won the majority of his one-on-one reps and I was impressed with his athleticism for his size.
