Uzondu has had quite a busy spring so far and impressed at multiple stops especially at the Rivals camp series in San Francisco earlier in the month. He passes the eye test and has a massive frame and huge wingspan with strong hands and can go up and pluck the ball out of the air when making contested catches. He showed downfield speed and long strides to chunk yards while also a precise route runner with body control and good tracking abilities over the top. He has hauled in offers from Washington, Oklahoma, UCLA and Arizona among others and will be a 20+ offer kid by the time he’s done in Bellflower.

Uzondu stood out due to his frame, particularly for how young he is. He is very long, is a long strider who moves very fast and has a strong lower half. He was catching everything and was causing matchup problems with his size. Uzondu could develop into a national recruit at tight end or keep around his current weight and be a receiver.

Anthony Uzondu Jr. is a 6’4″, 200-pound All-American receiver who already holds an offer from Sacramento State. This kid is legit! He’s not just tall and lengthy—he’s got muscle around his bones to handle contact. I’m impressed by his route-running ability and how he uses his body to his advantage, leaning on smaller defensive backs who can’t match his size, speed, or leaping ability. Adjusting to the ball in the air comes naturally to him. When in doubt, get the ball to this young man. Uzondu Jr. is one of the most physically prepared and talented players in his class, period.
